Other games like South Park: The Stick of Truth, The Elder Scrolls Online, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Goat Simulator have received quite positive reviews but are yet to make a significant impact with respect to sales figures. With 8 months still to go in 2014, a horde of games announced for the PC, current and next gen consoles. Let us take a brief look at some of the biggest upcoming games in 2014 for PC.

#1 Dark Souls II

Dark Souls 2, developed byFrom Softwareis the sequel to the highly rated Dark Souls. Dark Souls, originally released in 2011 was ported to PC only after a very strong and demanding petition by PC fans. The port however, was a very shoddy port of a console game, offering next to nothing in terms of graphics and controls customization.

Darks Souls 2, however, will look to amend their mistakes this time around. The game already released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 11th this year, has received universal acclaim from critics and fans alike. The game is known for its notably hard difficulty and the sequel is sure to be the reason for many more broken controllers.

Online previews have shown that the PC version features upgraded graphics including improved textures, a resolution slider and plays at an improved 60 fps, along with short load times. The game has a PvP multiplayer mode too. This game will definitely ensure 50+ hours of your hard-fought and action filled time.
