This year’s last and 4th Grand Slam, the US Open, is currently underway the city of New York, USA. The 2-week tournament is being hosted at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York City.The American Bryan brothers are the reigning doubles champions at the court, and will be looking to defend their title. If they do, they will win their 6th US Open men’s double title overall. They have also finished the ATP year-end number 1 doubles team a record 10 times. Between 2005 and 2006, they set an Open Era record by competing in seven consecutive men's doubles Grand Slam finals.To compliment their performance in the last calendar year, the Bryan brothers are seeded 1st in the men’s double ranking at the 2015 US Open while the Croatian-Brazilian pair of Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo are seeded 2nd. The top seeded Bryan brothers will start their 2015 US Open men’s doubles campaign in an All-American clash against the pair of Steve Johnson and Sam Querray.

The 37-year old identical twins are the most successful doubles pairing of all time and will be hoping to win their 17th Grand Slam in their professional tennis career. The Bryans have won more professional games, matches, tournaments and Grand Slams than any other men's pairing. They have also held the World number 1 doubles ranking jointly for 430 weeks, which is longer than anyone else in doubles history.

They have met their opponents on 2 previous occasions and have won both the ties comfortably with the last win coming in the 2nd round at the 2015 Wimbledon Tennis Tournament.

Prediction: The Bryan brothers to go through round 2 with a comfortable straight sets win.

#2 Marcin Matkowski/Nenad Zimonjic (4) vs Pablo Carreno Busta/Guillermo Garcia-Lopez

The Polish-Serbian men’s doubles pair of Marcin Matkowski and Nenad Zimonjic are seeded 4th in the doubles rankings and will take on the Spanish pair of Pablo Carreno Busta and Guillermo in their 1st round match of the 2015 US Open tournament.

The two pairs have not met before in the professional tennis circuit and will be hoping to bring the element of surprise into play when they meet in their 1st round clash.

The Polish-Serbian duo are fresh from their runners-up finish at the 2015 Cincinnati Open where they were beaten by the French-Canadian pair of Daniel Nestor and Edouard Roger Vasselin in the final.

Early in January 2015, the Spanish duo was beaten by the Indian-South African pair of Leander Paes and Raven Klaasen at the ATP Chennai Open semis.

Prediction: The 4th seeded pair to win in straight sets.

#3 Leander Paes/Martina Hingis (4) vs Claire Lu/Taylor Harry Fritz

Paes and Hingis are fresh off winning the mixed doubles title at Wimbledon

The Indian-Swiss duo of Leander Paes and Martina Hingis are seeded 4th in the mixed doubles rankings at the 2015 US Open. They will take on the American pair of Claire Lu and Taylor Harry Fritz in the 1st round match of their mixed doubles campaign.

The Indian-Swiss pair is fresh from winning the mixed doubles title at the 2015 Wimbledon Grand Slam by beating the pair of Alexander Peya and Timea Babos 6-1, 6-1 in 41 minutes in the final.

Martina Hingis also won the women’s doubles title with the Indian Sania Mirza at the 2015 Wimbledon Grand Slam.

Prediction: The Indian-Swiss pair to win comfortably.

#4 Rohan Bopanna/Florin Morgea (6) vs Austin Krajicek/Nicholas Monroe

The Indian-Romanian duo of Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea are seeded 6th at the men’s doubles in the 2015 US Open. They will face the American pair of Nicholas Monroe and Austin Krajicek in their 1st round men’s doubles match.

The pairs have not met each other over the cource of their professional tennis careers and each of the two teams will look to use this to their benefit.

The Indian-Romanian duo lost to the pair of Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo in their quater-final tie at the ATP 1000 Cincinnati Open 2015, while the American pair also lost their quarter final tie against the Indian-Kiwi pair of Yuki Bhambri and Michael Venus.

Prediction: Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea to win in a close match.

#5 Caroline Garcia/Katarina Srebotnik (5) vs Chin-Wie Chan/Darija Jurak

The French-Slovanian duo of Caroline Garcia and Katarina Srebotnik are seeded 5th in the women’s doubles rankings at the 2015 US Open. They will clash with the Chinese-Crotian pair of Chin-Wei Chan and Darija Jurak in the 1st round of their women’s doubles campaign.

The pairs have not clashed with each other in their professional tennis career and will be looking to start their campaign on a positive note.

The French-Slovanian duo were knocked out of the ATP 1000 Cincinnati Open in the 2nd round by the Chinese pair of Hao Ching Chan and Yung-Jan Chan, while the Chan-Jurak pair were knocked out in the 1st round of the ATP Connecticut Open by the Spanish duo of Anabel Medina Garrigues and Arantna Parra-Santonja.
