This is one night of the year when the wrestlers cease being larger than life and show that they’re human as well. This year’s Inductee’s weren’t as high profile as the past years. Macho Man Randy Savage 's long impending induction came through but his passing away in 2011 surely created a big void.Yet, this was a fun, hilarious, emotional night. A roller coaster of a night as it should be. It was an apt kicking off of the Wrestlemania weekend. There was definitely a show stealer when the speeches are concerned and that certainly wasn’t Shawn Michaels. Here are the five best moments from this year's Hall of Fame.

#1 Alundra Blayze is the Showstealer

What a presence! I just didn’t want her speech to end. She addressed the controversy that created the Monday Night Wars, she thanked her entire pro-wrestling family which included stars from WCW, WWE and the New Japan Women’s Pro Wrestling family.

She gave many shout outs to female wrestlers we’ve all come to respect- Sherri martel, Wendi Richter, Bull Nakano, Aja Kong and Fabulous Moolah among others. She also drives a monster truck and, and, and she is the first and the original Paul Heyman Girl.

It was a speech that certainly was more fun than it was expected of it. She was hilarious and emotional. She set the Hall of Fame ablaze with her charm.

#2 The Usos introduce their father

The night’s first inductors were The Usos, out there to induct their father. It was an introduction which was funny for the most part only to turn into something more evocative.

There was a lot of talk about the butt that made Rikishi a lot of money. The thong adorned butt that gave a ‘stink face’ to many a superstars including past and future Hall of Famers. The Usos acknowledged their dad’s ‘ass’ets as it put them through college and put a roof over their heads and provided their family with everything they needed.

We also got to know that Rikishi had to endure those days when he used to dance on the streets for some change. But look at him now!

Rikishi’s speech was laden with references to his family- the Samoan Dynasty- for whom he was ever so passionate about.

The pride in his voice was undeniable. He spoke at length and as succinctly as possible about the rich history he was part of and named every man who became a wrestler from his family, many names that the audience will be familiar with including The Rock, Umaga, Yokozuna, The Usos and Roman Reigns.

But, but, but, he did not mention his dancing partners Too Cool.

#3 Connor The Crusher and The Warrior

The most emotional moment of the night belonged to the induction of Connor ‘The Crusher’. Dana Warrior introduced the Warrior Trophy, talking about her own struggle after the sudden demise of her husband, The Ultimate Warrior, last year. Her story was undoubtedly about strength and endurance. S

he invited the inductor Daniel Bryan later on and after soaking in the overwhelming respect from the audience, he humbly pronounced that what he did was fiction but what inspired him was reality in the form of Connor. He described Connor in the most adorable way possible. ‘Conner’ and ‘Crusher’ became the chants of the night.

Connor’s dad accepted the Warrior award and spoke teary eyed. And then the speech ended with a poignant ‘I love you, Connor’ by Connor’s younger brother Jackson.

#4 Where the fun got funny

The Bushwackers are wrestlers not many wrestling fans in this time and era would know about. But the moment they stepped in to speak with their distinguishable Bushwacker walk, one could not expect how riveting this part of the night may get.

These two were hilarious and it seemed like they spoke in character. there was their shriek, exaggerated tone on display, but it was all the more fun. They were hardcore wrestling fans even before hardcore wrestling became known. That was possibly the line of the night that struck a thousand chords.

The murmurs in between their speech, Bret hart, Roddy Rowdy Piper and The Million Dollar man Ted Dibiase doing the Bushwackers walk. And that really cool Hacksaw Jim Duggan shoutout- wow.

Cousin Luke and Cousin Butch were so entertaining.

#5 The Cool Quotient

The Kliq reunited again and it always takes you back to the 90s where they just plain dominated the backstage scene, wherever they went. They were nonchalant and proud of it. It’s always, always cool to have HBK return and just be there, exist, in the realm of the WWE. HBK tore off his sheet of paper. Time restraints, you see.

Michaels was charming as usual and the entire scenario just screamed for some backstage details to be spewed out as, after all, it’s the Kliq we’re talking about. This speech did not run out too long.

Michaels may have been much more at ease than Nash but Nash did get the line of that succinctly ended the night- “There are only two things that are real in this business- when you win your first world title and when you’re inducted into the Hall of Fame

#6 Special Moment: Macho Man in the Hall of Fame

Lanny Poffo finally inducted his brother Macho Man Randy Savage into the Class of 2015, Hall of Fame, a move long overdue from the WWE. Staying true to his Leaping Lanny character, he capped off his brother’s legacy with his three short yet classy poems.

Words cannot describe how epic and heart touching this moment was for the nostalgic wrestling fans of the Golden Era. Without any more elaborations, watch the segment below.
