5 possible endings to the Royal Rumble 2016

Triple H is rumoured to be present at the Rumble as well.

The Clash that mattersThere is no time as thrilling as right now as far as being a WWE fan is considered. The first of the Big 4 PPvs is set to take place this month and that will officially kick off the Road to Wrestlemania. And even though the last two editions of the Royal Rumble have been nothing but disappointing, you are just hopelessly optimistic that WWE will pull off something magical this time around.Yes, there are more disappointments but when they do have something good, they do know how to make it great. While some rumours are already out and about, it’s quite characteristic to make a few predictions. Here are the 5 possible endings to the Royal Rumble 2016-

#1 We\'ll Settle this at Mania

Triple H is rumoured to be present at the Rumble as well.

Now, what’s the most game-changing thing to happen in the WWE in 2015? It was Roman Reigns finally getting over by decimating the man who calls himself The Game.

And while we expected him to make a return to Raw, it seems that WWE is saving that for a far bigger platform. Now that Reigns is set to defend his title at Royal Rumble, it seems Triple H is about to come back in a different manner.

How about entering the Royal Rumble and winning it and looking to settle the score with Reigns at Mania?

Triple H vs Roman Reigns was always in the making and what better way to make it official than the Rumble?

#2 The Beast dominates

Lesnar may win his second Royal Rumble in his second appearance

Brock Lesnar is set to be a part of this PPV and it’ll be his first appearance in the Royal Rumble match since 2003.

The last time he entered the Rumble as a participant, he won it. And this time, it looks like he’s going to make his second appearance count as well.

If that happens then, WWE will be returning to the Lesnar vs Reigns feud which has not been revisited since Wrestlemania 31.

But now the dynamic has surely changed with Reigns holding the championship. Both these guys have never pinned each other and it’s an undeniable fact that these two had a brilliant match even before the spectacular Seth Rollins cash- in.

With the Wyatt Family in the picture, things are bound to get interesting in the 30-man match.

#3 John Cena

Cena may finally pass the baton to the new face of the WWE

Another rumour doing the rounds is a passing of the torch match. If Cena faces Reigns at Wrestlemania in the main event, then there is no more monumental moment of moving on to the future than this.

Cena vs Reigns is a much-touted face off and they have protected these two in every singular interaction they’ve had, always foreshadowing that Reigns is coming to actually take the reins from Cena.

Cena winning the Rumble won’t be such an exciting event, but a future showdown between Reigns and him will be.

Orton’s return may surprise a lot of people

We haven’t seen Randy Orton in a long, long time. We can still expect to see him back by the Royal Rumble. But that isn’t sure yet.

Reigns vs Orton has been underwhelming and hot depending on when you decided to follow it. When Reigns returned from his injury in 2014, he faced Orton who was without much creative direction and they had to follow Stephanie McMahon vs Brie Bella at Summerslam and they just couldn’t.

Afterwards, they had interactions when Orton was being anti-heroic and then their character allignments presented some interesting opportunities. But this is a long shot.

Ambrose is still an endearing superstar

Would you be surprised if you were told that there was actually a rumored plan of having Ambrose win the Royal Rumble? That was when Rollins was still healthy and champion.

That was when Reigns was about to face Rollins and predicted to win. Ambrose winning would have meant a Shield Triple threat at Wrestlemania and how glorious would that have been?

But it still remains a dream match even though they did face each other in FCW.

But is it so farfetched to think that there could still be a chance of this happening. Maybe. But one can still dream.

How about Lesnar is about to win but is eliminated by Kevin Owens. This sets fire to the rumors that these two will collide at Mania and then out of the blue, Ambrose comes in and eliminates Owens?
