5 WWE strongmen who slammed the Big Show

John Cena slamming Big ShowThere are a lot of ways in which strength could be measured. When it comes to the wrestling business, slamming a big guy could get you in the list of strongmen. And since Big Show has been the ‘big guy’ of WWE for nearly three decades, anyone who slammed Big Show comfortably could be easily labelled as such.It is not an easy task to pick up and slam a giant like Big Show. WWE made good use of this fact during the Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant match at WrestleMania 3 and since that, slamming a giant ended up being a big achievement. Over the years, Big Show has been slammed with ease by some superstars and this list will take a look at them.

Mark Henry and Big Show are two industry veterans in the current WWE roster. The Giant vs. Giant dynamics have been used on numerous occasions by the WWE and these two superstars featured in some of them. While a lot of fans find it boring to see two big guys fighting it out, seeing one of them getting slammed was a great deal.

Both Henry and Big Show have been on the receiving side of the slam but it is Henry’s slam on Big Show that gets him on the list. The careers of these superstars are at a crossroads right now and the lukewarm reaction that they get from the fans is not doing any good for them as well.

Ezekiel Jackson recently came into the limelight after he was mentioned in Daniel Bryan’s book. Bryan projected him as an arrogant wrestler who did not know what he was dealing with. Despite such criticism, there were no arguments about his strength. He had a Herculean physique and he showed off his power with no hesitation.

Jackson body slamming Big Show is still a popular video in YouTube and it would be one of the better memories of the erstwhile WWE star. And of course, he was the last ECW champion, although a lot of fans would not agree.

#3 Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar and Big Show have a lot of history. These two locked horns numerous times over the past and Lesnar was projected as a beast almost every time. The 2014 edition of Royal Rumble proved to be the stage for the most recent beating to Big Show. Show and Lesnar were supposed to have a clean match at the pay-per-view but Lesnar had other plans.

He attacked Big Show before the match and literally destroyed him. Lesnar was slamming Big Show all around the place and this proved to be a great buildup for Lesnar. The beast later went on to conquer Undertaker’s streak and since that happened, not everyone remembers the destruction of Big Show.

After getting destroyed by Lesnar at the 2014 Royal Rumble, Big Show tried to steal the show at WrestleMania. He wanted to become the inaugural winner of the Andre the Giant memorial Battle Royal and he was ripping through his competition. In the end, it came down to Cesaro and Big Show. Show was the favorite but then, Cesaro produced a magical moment.

In what proved to be a perfect tribute to Andre the Giant, Cesaro slammed Big Show. It was a great sight for the fans and it once again underlined the amount of strength that Cesaro has in him. He has done the same with many big superstars but since the stage was a grand one, this one stands out.
