Fan fiction has long been a part of anything remotely related to popular culture. When it comes to the realm of WWE, this may entail dream bookings when it comes to matches, segments between your favorite performers, legends in the business. And sometimes, it also includes possible pairing of a male and female performer. It may or may not have some romantic indications but mostly they do turn such pairings into having romantic angles. Just when you though Lana and Rusev were only a real life couple which did not transition into their storyline wrestler- manager relationship, it all eventually did lead up to that part.Well, here are 5 superstar- diva pairings that would light up WWE TV.

#5 Finn Balor- Becky Lynch

Younger Balor and Younger Lynch

Okay, so for those of you who have been following NXT and following the story of Finn Balor and his journey to the WWE including him specding 8 years in Japan, you might have noticed Becky Lynch’s presence in those videos.

She’s certainly been a keen observor of his career. Both of them are Irish but also Lynch has been partly trained by Balor. She joined the wrestling school Balor was a co- founder of and began training under him in 2002.

Well, for all you fan- fic lovers, this may be much fodder for later on.

There already are many shippers for this pairing.

#4 Seth Rollins- Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks is a well- respected wrestler in the world of wrestling. Just like Rollins

Okay, at first this may seem like an odd pairing but it can still work. The Boss is still the boss while Seth Rollins is still The Architect of a Dream. Both of them have been really good at their heel roles.

They are both two of the best wrestlers in their division. No matter what they turn Rollins character into, his wrestling prowess is one of the best. And every time Banks has walked into a WWE arena, she’s got the respect that she deserves from the audience, such is her skill in the ring.

These two are fierce in their offense. They can actually make a pretty good heel pair.

#3 Dean Ambrose- Lana

Lana may prove to be a good manager for Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose as WWE as well established right now is unstable. He’s more of a Stark than a Lannister at this point. He has guts and he goes after his opponents without thinking a thing or two about his own well- being. He’s a guy on the wild side of things. He surely may need somebody who could do the thinking and politics for him. Diplomacy in its essence.

Lana may be the perfect fit and given her partnership with Rusev before things went haywire, she’ll a perfect advocate for one of the most over superstars in the WWe right now.

#2 Finn Balor- Lana

The Demon Overlord

Finn Balor is NXT’s face going forwards. The thing is that the man’s got one heck of a presence. His entrance, his entire look, his wrestling to his journey in the industry have all been effective in making him tick with the audience but if there is one thing that has held him back is his promo work.

He was decent this week on NXT, but he’s more of a charismatic performer than a speaker. He’s somebody whose entrance will never get old.

He needs someone who can do the promo work for him and Lana is at the moment the best female manager the WWE has.

This pairing could actually work wonders if WWE utilizes it properly. This does not necessarily need to have romantic tones.

#1 Dean Ambrose- Paige

Firstly, a superstar- diva pairing doesn’t necessarily need to be a partnership which includes the superstar as a wrestler and the diva as a manager. In this case, Ambrose and Paige are both wrestlers and the most promising prospects in the making of WWE’s future.

Both of them started out in the WWE back when NXT was FCW. Both of them have been into wrestling since a long, long time. Ambrose dropped out of school to devote his life to wrestling, Paige has been wrestling for the past 10 years, and she’s only in her early twenties right now.

Both of these performers stand out in their particular division and they command some immensely strong screen presence.

Also, their characters entail a certain wild energy. And the two of them seem like certain free spirits.
