WWE Hell in a Cell 2014: 5 Superstars who will shine in the Pay-Per-View

Dean Ambrose was the sole standout performer of Night of Champions while the honor was equally divided among a handful of competitors at SummerSlam. After those two inspired heavily by one of WWE’s marquee gimmick matches, the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view will be the company’s last stop before their next big four offering, the Survivor Series. After the failure NOC, there is a ton load of new responsibilities that the creative has to fulfill and the biggest priority would be to keep the fans happy. And for the same, they would need the wrestlers to fight their heart out, so here is a look at some of those superstars who would stand out at Hell in a Cell on October 26th.

#5 Bunny

This might sound a bit ridiculous and to be frank, it is. However, knowing the levels to which the WWE creative can go, this is a big possibility.

Adam Rose and his Bunny might easily get a spot in the HIAC pre-show or the main show with the most likely opponents being Slator Gator.

There is a lot of bad blood between the team even if it is a funny affair. And the person inside the bunny costume in particular would be looking to make a big statement. Justin Gabriel hasn’t been in a pay-per-view for ages and he is not going to let the opportunity be wasted even if it is inside a utterly embarrassing costume.

#4 Rusev

When Rusev set foot in the main roster, a majority of the WWE Universe tagged him as the next Vladimir Kozlov. This meant that the monster push that he is getting now would disappear and make him just another big guy in the roster.

However, this doesn’t mean that the Rusev won’t have his moments till then. He had two this week when he knocked out Mark Henry, who is a former World Champion for the people who didn’t notice it yet. Rusev’s next opponent might be a bigger name in the form of Big Show and there is no reason that would point towards Show getting a win over Rusev. The stage thus is set ideally for the Bulgarian Brute to have yet another good outing at a pay-per-view.

#3 Randy Orton

Orton’s heel run might be running a bit stale at this moment, but none can take away the performances he has been putting into his matches.

The match he had with Jericho was a big example for that. Following night, he gave a similar performance against the Cenation leader showing that the viper is at the top of his game no matter who is opponent is. Orton’s ties with the Authority will most likely end him up with a credible opponent for HIAC and this means that the apex predator would shine.

The only question that remains now is about who Orton would be sparring with but still, he could come out looking good irrespective of his opponents.

#2 Seth Rollins

Mr. Money in the bank made his intentions clear at Night of Champions when he laid out the reigning WWE champion, Brock Lesnar.

Holding the briefcase makes Rollins one of the most powerful superstars right now, and it was that mere misuse of power that he had showcased last Sunday when he changed course of a match that was built superbly from the start.

Getting tangled with the lights of Lesnar, Cena and Ambrose is not what a typical superstar would like to do, but then again, the bigger the opponent, the greater the opportunity to shine. Rollins will have to follow this rule at HIAC where he has a lot of predators waiting to prey on him.

#1 Dean Ambrose

The lunatic Fringe was the highest point of Night of Champions. His big return somehow softened the wrath of WWE fans who found it hard to digest the pay-per-view, for which they earned the well earned money.

As expected, Ambrose went right after Rollins who betrayed his brothers to make an alliance with the Authority. His unpredictability makes the feud interesting despite being a very long one and Hell in a Cell wouldn’t be any different. The expectation of him bursting out of somewhere next will make Hell in a Cell a more intriguing pay-per-view and make him a big factor.
