5 talking points from John Cena vs. Seth Rollins match at SummerSlam

New look

WWE World Heavyweight Champion and US Champion-Seth RollinsSeth Rollins did something spectacular at the SummerSlam PPV. He became the first man in the history of the company to win both WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the US Championship. The match may have ended in chaos but Cena and Rollins managed to produce a great match at SummerSlam. Some liked the way in which the match ended but some others didn't appreciate that. However there are 5 things that impressed everyone. Let us have a look at them-

#5 Attire of the Champion

New look

Let us begin with something that happens before the match begins- It's the entrance of the superstars. Seth's appearance in this match surprised everyone in the arena. Contrary to his usual black wrestling gear, Rollins showed up in a brand new white wrestling gear.

It is not uncommon for the WWE superstars to change their wrestling gear on some special occasions. This match was obviously a big one for Rollins and the new attire surely symbolized a special occasion and added to the champ's looks.

#4 Frog Splash

Viva La Rasa time

Throughout this match, Seth was spectacular with his moves. He used many uncommon moves. What do you remember when someone goes to the top rope and delivers a splash from there? Yeah! You are right. Rollins surprised everyone in the arena with a 'Frog Splash' from the top rope.

Rollins emulated the finishing move of the legendary Eddie Guerrero with perfection. It's Viva La Rasa time. He may not have won the match with this move but he surely helped the fans recall the former WWE Champion, Eddie.

#3 Rollins goes for an AA

Cena’s Attitude Adjusted

How do you feel when someone gives you a taste of your own medicine? You obviously hate that but this trend is common in WWE. Sometimes superstars receive what they could deliver best. The same happened to Cena in this match. Cena looked for an AA and Rollins countered the move and successfully delivered an AA to John.

Rollins could not get the win with this but Cena was stunned. All we could say is, Rollins deserves it all.

#2 Figure 4 Leg Lock

Figure 4

It so happens at times that to achieve an extraordinary goal, you need to do something completely out of box. Cena did something spectacular in this match. Heading into this match, John was on a mission to win his 16th World title. Had he won the match, he would have equalled Ric Flair's record for 16 World title wins.

Cena tried to achieve this feat in typical Ric Flair style and used his signature move, the 'Figure 4 Leg Lock' on Rollins.

#1 Jon Stewart- The Culprit

What in the world was this?

Jon Stewart was the host of SummerSlam 2015. He was only supposed to host the show and do absolutely nothing. But Jon crossed his line and changed the entire course of the match. Jon attacked Cena with a steel chair and helped Rollins secure the win. As Michael Cole said, Jon transpired from a daily show host to a Summerslam criminal.

He not only kicked off SummerSlam but also indirectly knocked off Cena. After all this, Jon says that he wanted to preserve the legacy of Ric Flair? Utter non-sense!
