Anyone who's been following WWE in recent times should know that the Anonymous raw GM is back- with the laptop, with that irritating ringtone and with that has returned Michael Cole's catchphrase. While the live audience could have been glad that they don't get to hear Cole's voice often, they were in for a rude shock on Monday. Who could blame them? The Anonymous raw GM gimmick was an epic fail back when it was introduced.Since it's back, here are 5 things that can make it work.

#5 Sticking around

Having a constant presence is much better than having guest general managers or celebrity general managers. Sure, some special guest GM’s can be great if they are the likes of Ric Flair or Mick Foley but there should be a constant presence for this particular gimmick.

Too many people are a crowd and it deems this position as redundant. The GM should ahve a strong presence and a spot of their own. It makes the picture look much better.

#4 He or she

Just because Michael Cole is the voice of the Gm doesn’t mean that the GM is a man.It can be a woman as well. It would just come as a surprise and it’s about time that someone other than Stephanie or Vickie Guerrero comes into the shoes of an authority figure.

It’ll be a refreshing change and it will definitely be welcome if it's someone with a lot of charisma like McMahon.

#3 Have a face

Ever heard of a faceless enemy? Well, that term is most often used for trolls on the internet. The Anonymous raw GM gimmick is a flop because there is no afce to this character.

There is a reason why people ask to have a face-to-face encounter. it is much more intense and meaningful. Having a buzzing ringtone and a piece of paper as a shred of an email won’t always work. The Anonymous Raw GM should be revealed.

#2 Be a fully formed heel

What is more annoying is if this GM will try to be confused about how to use power. This GM should be a fully formed heel and should obviously do things to favor other heels and that will fill the void that the Authority has left.

The show needs to have a nice mix of heels and babyfaces and it’s better when there is an imbalance with the heels getting the advantage. It makes things more interesting and it makes you want to see the heel lose.

#1 Less E-mails

The most annoying aspect of this gimmick is listening to that ringing tone before an email and then have Michael Cole read it. While there is not much to complain about Michael Cole reading the email but there is a problem with him being a messenger.

So many emails just interrupt the flow of things. It breaks one’s train of thought or comes as a road breaker if anthing interesting is going on in the ring. The less e-mails, the better.
