5 things Randy Orton has yet to achieve in the WWE

Missing a major Slammy award?

Randy OrtonRandy Orton has done a lot in his WWE career. A plethora of accomplishments fill his resume such as being a former (12 time) world champion, a royal rumble victory, Mr Money In The Bank, former tag champ, former IC champ, multiple time sole survivor and the youngest world champ among many others. But today we aren’t looking at what he has achieved, instead we are focusing on what he is yet to accomplish. So let’s take a look now at 5 things that the legend killer, Randy Orton has yet to achieve.

#1 Slammy award

Missing a major Slammy award?

Technically, Randy Orton has won one Slammy for the hashtag ‘#RKOOuttaNowwhere’, but even that came largely due to the popular RKO vines made by others.

Orton has yet to win any of major Slammy awards such as Superstar of the Year or Match of the Year. Although he still has plenty of time left in him to win a major Slammy.

The Slammy’s aren’t necessarily a huge accomplishment but considering they are awarded via fan voting it can demonstrate how popular you are with the WWE universe.

#2 King of the Ring

The Viper could aim for King of the Ring honour next year

The King of the Ring used to be an extremely prestigious accomplishment but as of recent years it has been non-existent. This year saw the tournament return and it could quite possibly be here to stay.

Randy Orton has never won the King of the Ring tournament, but since it seems it may have bow returned again, he could very well win it.

Unfortunately, the prestige of the tournament has severely waned anyway, especially since the current king, Bad News Barret, has been treated so poorly.

#3 Pin the boss

Orton vs Vince? Not likely to happen

Vince McMahon has never been a full-time active wrestler on the WWE roster, but from time to time he has stepped in the squared circle to feud with some of the biggest stars.

WWE.com recently posted an article listing things John Cena has never accomplished, and one of those was pinning Vince McMahon. However, Cena is not alone. Despite facing him in the ring, Randy Orton has never pinned the boss either.

This, of course, is not a huge accomplishment though and likely something that Orton will never achieve.

#4 US title

Orton hasn’t been US champion till date

Randy Orton is a twelve-time world champion and has won every active title except one, the United States championships.

With Cena bringing prestige back to the US title, and Orton likely to also start transitioning back down the card, we could actually see him win this championship sometime in the not too distant future. With a fresh surge of new young stars coming through, Orton’s main event days may be limited, so he could find himself fighting for the US title.

Winning the United States championship would also help Orton reach another achievement he has yet to accomplish.

#5 Grandslam champion

Orton is a former 12-time World champion

Randy Orton may be a triple crown champion, but he is yet to join an ever smaller list of grand slam champions. Under the new format, if Orton were to win the US title, then he would officially join Daniel Bryan and many others as a grand slam champion.

Becoming a Grand Slam champion is a highly prestigious accomplishment that Orton is yet to achieve, but it could very well happen sometime in the near future.

Please feel free to comment below if you can think of any other accomplishments that Orton has yet to achieve?
