5 ways in which Miz can be back in the main-event scene again

Awesome Truth

Brock Lesnar and MizThe Miz has been an ignored character in recent times. Don’t be fooled by the last sentence because, despite such a forgettable run, the Awesome one has a resume worth millions. The achievements of Miz include headlining WrestleMania (Which CM Punk didn’t), beating John Cena at WrestleMania (which many of the superstars didn’t), four Intercontinental Championship reigns (John Cena has none), one WWE championship reign, six tag team championship reigns, and two United States Championship reigns.Apart from all these, Miz is a Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion. Okay, now the argument would be “oh, he has won so many things but he still does not know to wrestle”. Well, the answer for that lies in the Wrestling Observer awards he won in 2008 and 2009.He was voted the most improved wrestler in those years. With that said, Miz should not be wasted in the mid card. WWE has invested a lot of money in him and the least they could do is to put him in the main event scene. So here is a look at some of the angles that could help.

#5 The Dark horse Tag Team

Awesome Truth

Remember the time when R-Truth and Miz were a tag team? Although it sounds like a joke, these two guys went on to headline Survivor Series against John Cena and The Rock. They were entertaining and at the same time were not like the cliche power teams. It was believable and if WWE could do something similar for Miz, he could reach the main event scene.

Doing the thing with R-Truth again will not make sense. Bo Dallas is a good candidate right now. Bo is good on the mic and is a decent in ring worker as well. The pairing would be irritating as hell and WE could put them in the main event against some babyface tag team.

#4 Awesome People

Some Awesome People

Miz has pretty solid microphone work and he is easy to hate. So why not give him a stable? The guy could do wonders leading a pack of young superstars. WWE’s lack of stables at the moment will help Miz in succeeding. However, unless WWE puts this stable in a big feud, this idea will not work.

Miz turning face and leading his pack against the Authority would be solid. His stable consisting of NXT superstars will help to rally the fans as well. Miz could look like a legitimate main eventer with such a storyline. And if WWE is confused about the name of this stable, they can always use ‘Awesome People’ or something good.

#3 A rebirth

He should drop atom bombs not pipe bombs

The current Miz is a joke, period. The other suggestions in this list try to turn that Joke into a main event superstar while this one brings forwards the idea of rebirth. Miz’s Hollywood Gimmick is not main event worthy since he is not a Hollywood star like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. So to keep it simple, WWE needs to give Miz an entirely different gimmick.

It is not as easy as it sounds. There are a lot of options, but the CM Punk one will do perfectly. All Miz has to do is come in and drop a pipe bomb. When he rips John Cena and all the stupid creative direction that WWE has, the fans will automatically get impressed. Do that week in and week out, and Miz will be a fan favorite rebel in no time.

#2 The Authority

He looks good in a suit

This is the easiest route that WWE could take if they want Miz in the main event scene. The current stooges of the Authority have gone stale and they could use someone new. Miz will not be able to fill in as a bodyguard or a Director of operations, but he could be the General Manager of Raw. Even though it keeps him away from the squared circle, it will help Miz be in the main event scene.

Having a close association with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon is another good thing about this angle. He will be constantly rubbing shoulders with the main event stars which eventually will help him transition once he breaks up with the power couple.

#1 Let him win the WWE Championship

D’oh

It’s simple; we let Miz win the WWE championship. I mean, what could be easier than just letting him win the championship? With names like Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar and now, Sheamus in the mix, Miz would be the last person you would expect to see as champion. But that is the beauty of it. There will be a big shock value in Miz getting hold of the WWE championship.

He doesn’t need to go over Brock Lesnar to do the same. Cheating someone like Ambrose or Reigns would be the best path to go. Miz would be a chicken champion just like Rollins and with some backing from Authority, he could be the most hated champion in WWE history.
