#5 The Bromance

The Bros are amused!

When these two Canadians formed a team, they were brothers and not just brothers, they were vampires. We’ve come a lot ahead with that!

Their friendship is such a well-documented fact that the chemistry between Edge and Christian is a part of wrestling lore. They were one-third of the team that gave rise to the TLC phenomenon in the WWE.

They were the ones who brought the chairs but they’ve been instrumental in making TLC one of the greatest, most exciting stipulations in the world of wrestling. Also, they won the first ever TLC match.

Many World Tag Team Championships and 5-second poses later, they still light up the arena whenever they step foot inside the squared circle.

P.S. who can forget the pride on Edge’s face when he witnessed Christian win his first World Heavyweight Championship in the WWE!

#4 THAT moment

Two ‘extreme’ly awesome superstars

Not many wrestlers can boast of being part of a moment that you would replay again and again. I’m not talking about the Live Sex Celebration with Lita, I’m talking about a moment as reminiscent as Mankind being hurled off from top of a cage, though relatively less damaging.

Edge, during a legendaryTLC match at Wrestlemania 17, speared Jeff Hardy while the latter was dangling on the straps of the tag team championship.

That very much speaks about most of his matches and the way he put his body on the line, (remember his match with Foley at Wrestlemania where he and Foley went through a flaming table?!) much of which may be responsible for the early demise of his wrestling career.

#3 \'You Suck\'

Edge gave the audience the ‘You Suck’ chant

Kurt Angle could never, never ever escape that. The theme song was all fine and apt for the Olympic gold medalist but it became an intricate part of his gimmick when he began feuding with Edge.

These two had an entertaining feud. So many of Edge’s feuds have been entertaining- whether it was with Cena, Matt or Jeff Hardy- but this one is special. Because not only did Edge win and lead Angle to shave his own head, he began using the ‘You Suck’ chant for Angle, which perfectly fit his theme song.

So perfect it was that it remained popular years after the feud ended.

#2 The Rated R Superstar

One of the most memorable alliances ever

Much credit goes to Lita because she was one brilliant heel. WWE turned the real-life affair between Amy Dumas and Adam Copeland into a storyline. It was done after the brouhaha created for firing Matt Hardy after he spoke out against the said affair.

This feud made Matt Hardy and Edge’s singles’ careers quite relevant at the time but only one of them survived and sustained that stardom. Nobody was as over as Edge as a heel during this time. The Rated R Superstar was born.

His opportunistic gimmick, his expressions and his extreme matches had made his name all the more meaningful.

#1 Mr. Money In The Bank

That Star-making moment

There is nobody who’s ever won the Money In The bank contract, been able to match the crescendo of glory and thrill as much the original Mr. Money In The Bank. A new concept was introduced by Chris Jericho and while it looked promising, so many promising developments came and had gone away.

There was a chance that this newly introduced idea would fade away if its impact wasn’t executed to feel as much.

But WWE chose the perfect performer to exhibit the possibilities a cash- in can do. Edge, the ultimate opportunist, cashed the first ever MITB contract on Cena and won in thrilling fashion and went on to establish the legacy that is now as indelible as ever.
