WWE Extreme Rules 2015: 3 Possible Endings for Big Show vs. Roman Reigns Match

There are a lot of matches that WWE books just for the purpose of filling the pay-per-view schedule, the Last Man standing match between Roman Reigns and Big Show at Extreme Rules looks all set to be just that. Roman Reigns is yet to pick up from the blow he took at WrestleMania and putting him into a feud with Big Show was never the right move from WWE’s side. The fans are treating Reigns as though he is a heel that deserves to be hated and it is going to affect the match for sure. Add the stale Big Show into the mix, and it is the perfect combination for a disaster. The match is booked for the pay-per-view nevertheless and here is a look at the possible ways in which it could end.

#3 Enter Triple H

So what is that could save Roman Reigns at the moment?

Triple H, is a very edible answer to that question. If WWE wants to put him over as a babyface, then he has to have a full-fledged feud with the Authority. WWE teased a potential feud between Hunter and Reigns way back during the Shield days but for some reason, they decided to keep it for another time.

The post –Extreme Rules period would be a perfect time for WWE to cash in on this possibility as Triple H and Reigns could feud all the way to SummerSlam. For this, firstly, The Authority needs to involve heavily in the Big Show – Reigns match at Extreme Rules. Hunter could directly or indirectly cost Reigns the match, and this would serve as a great reason for Reigns to go after Hunter.

#2 The stale win no one wants to see

The whole purpose of the Big Show – Reigns feud was to put over Reigns. Though WWE failed miserably in doing so, they will be trying to finish what they started by giving Reigns a clean win. As far as the match is concerned, don’t expect it to be over the top.

We have seen almost everything that Big Show could do and Reigns is limited by his move set as well. Keeping Big Show down for the ten count will require something brilliant and it will probably be the only interesting part about the match.

There is a big risk of the fans ruining the match from the start as well, and this clean win would only bury Reigns further into the pit he is already in.

#1 Breaking the cryptic code

Bray Wyatt has been pulling off some cryptic promos in the recent weeks and from the looks of it, he might play a big role at Extreme Rules. There aren’t many matches at Extreme Rules that would serve as a platform for Bray’s interference, but the Reigns – Show clash is definetly a good choice.

Reigns and Bray could be involved in a solid feud if WWE does everything right and the first step should be taken at Extreme Rules. Bray could interfere in between the match or after it with the preference going to the latter choice as the fans will not be happy about a botched interference.

Big Show will end up looking like an irrelevant character, but since the whole angle is about Reigns, no one is going to complaint.
