WWE Hell in a Cell 2014: 3 possible endings for Sheamus vs The Miz match

WWE haven’t been all that keen about booking their midcard Championships credibly for pay-per-views. However, this hasn’t been the case with Sheamus and his United States title. The creative team has given a solid build up for Sheamus and his bout against the Miz at Hell in a Cell and it has all the potential to be one of the most entertaining outings in the match card.Miz comes into the match with a good amount of momentum against the expectation of the fans while stunt double Damien Sandow would prove to be the subplot amidst all these. Sheamus needs to have eyes behind his head to make sure that he doesn’t drop the title and here is a look at the ways in which WWE could end the match at Hell in a Cell.

#3 Stunt double costs the Miz the match

Damien Sandow and his stunt double character is more over than Miz at this point of time. There are constant cheers among the WWE Universe to let Sandow in the ring only because he deserves to be between the ropes.

While anyone in the roster would’ve kissed their career good bye with such a character, Sandow took it whole heartedly and used it as a platform to get back into the spotlight. Though it is all sunshine and rainbows between Miz and Sandow at the moment but they are sure to produce friction down the road.

WWE could kick start the process at Hell in a Cell since the stakes are high for Miz. Sandow costing Miz his match would make a compelling narrative for the weeks to come and WWE would find themselves with a very much over Sandow once the feud is over.

#2 The Awesome one surprises everyone

Many wouldn’t have their money on Miz to win the United States championship at Hell in a Cell due to the protected booking that Sheamus has been getting ever since he made it into the main roster.

WWE barely books Sheamus in a bad way and it would be nothing less than surprising if they do that in favor of Miz. And that is one factor that the WWE could take advantage of.

If they pull off a result that no one expects, it is sure to grab the headlines to an extent. To make it look more surprising, WWE could give Miz a clean win rather than letting Sandow help him get the championship.

This ending would also help Sheamus lean towards the heel side which is more suited to him rather than being a babyface.

#1 Bad News for Sheamus

There is a lot of potential left to tap in the Damien Sandow – Miz duo. WWE doesn’t need the help of Sheamus to do the same which means Miz need not win the championship at Hell in a Cell.

However, as far as Sheamus is concerned, he would need to kick start a new feud when he ends one. There aren’t many options left for the Celtic Warrior in the current roster but there are two wrestlers in the list that would fit in perfectly.

First would be Bad News Barrett who has been out of action due to injury for a long time. A returning Barrett can be a solid opponent for Sheamus but a better choice would be Bray Wyatt.

Bray with his new set of vignettes looked fresh and ready to conquer the WWE once again and starting a feud with Sheamus would go down as a good initiation ceremony.
