WWE Hell in a Cell 2014: 3 possible endings for Dust Brothers vs Usos match

From being the backbone of WWE programming to being restricted to the pay-per-view preshow, the tag team division has definetly taken a big drop over the past year.At Hell in a Cell, the champions Dust Brothers would face off against Usos with the title on line in what many call as the tag team version of John Cena – Randy Orton matches. There is apparently no buildup for the four men though they are sure to deliver a solid bout. The match has no heat whatsoever despite the pay-per-view status it has and WWE would sweat a lot if they are trying to sell a story. The ending however would prove to be a platform setter for the future of Tag team division so here are the possible ways in which the match could end.

#3 Crack among the dust

Heading into WrestleMania, the friction that Cody and Goldust had between them was making the WWE Universe buzz.

Everyone wanted to see a brother- brother feud between the duo but that never came as WWE was suffering from a depleted Tag team division. The decision to keep the brothers together later saw the birth of Stardust.

Cody was trying hard to be as good as his brother and ended up replicating his gimmick which is a better surrounding for pulling off the much dreamt about Brother – Brother angle.

Being jealous of eachother, the team could explode at Hell in a Cell and gift the Usos a win. WWE would thus have two angles from the match instead of two teams who are starting to look stale.

#2 Uneventful champions win

After securing the title from Usos at Night of Champions, Goldust and Cody went onto have a horrible run with the titles where they barely won a match.

They were often booked as losers despite the paramount potential that the two have.

Losers and champions are two words that should not cross paths unless it’s been worked into a storyline and since WWE didn’t have any storyline backing for the loss that the Dust Brothers took, they are nothing more than duck champions.

Now, if WWE wants to let the Dust Brothers continue their run, it would raise some eye brows. However, since the writers have a hobby of disappointing the fans, the titles might not change hands on Sunday.

#1 Usos gets the gold back

The last possible ending discussed how uneventful that Dust brothers have been as Tag team champions and the one easy way out of that problem would be to let the Usos reclaim the titles.

Usos have been booked very well for the past year with them picking up wins on a regular basis. They’ve been doing the same after Night of Champions even without the championship and that is the way champions should be booked.

With the title taken away from Dust Brothers, the company could invest both teams in different feuds while they will have a credible team as champions rather than one which loses often.

A title change in the pre-show would set the show pretty well and warm up the crowd ahead of the big matches that is to come.
