WWE Hell in a Cell 2014 : 5 Big returns that could happen at the Pay-Per-View

The WWE fans were braced with some big returns after Night of Champions as Rock and Mick Foley decided to drop by and give everyone a trip back into the good old days. Both the superstars got a big reaction in their returns and if they got that for a weekly show one can imagine how successful the surprise returns could be if it happened in a big pay-per-view.WWE will have the chance to do just the same on Sunday night when they will put together Hell in a Cell for their loyal followers. There aren’t much possible headline grabbers on the show apart from the Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins match and if the company lets someone come back for one night, it is sure to make the internet go into chaos. So here is a look at those possible names that could surprise the fans at Hell in a Cell on Sunday.

#5 Roman Reigns

Reigns was supposed to face off against Seth Rollins at Night of Champions last month but the injury took him out of action, leaving Rollins to Ambrose.

The Rollins – Ambrose feud would have a fitting climax inside the Hell in a Cell if WWE doesn’t let Kane ruin the whole thing. Mr. Money in the bank would then need a new opponent and WWE could easily resume the Reigns angle.

There is no news on when Reigns would return to action which makes Sunday a great possibility. Reigns would return and ruin the celebrations of Rollins after the Ambrose match giving WWE a new angle all the way to Survivor Series.

Also, there is the other opportunity of having all three men involved in a triple threat match with the briefcase on the line.

#4 Ryback

Ryback might not be an exciting return as many of the other names in the list but he still has some untapped potential waiting to be explored.

Before being taken away from the television, Ryback was having a tag team run alongside Curtis Axel which was going nowhere.

His heel run fell flat with the crowd when he could’ve done better things as a babyface. Ryback would be eager to make a statement after being out for so long and if WWE lets him return as a face, it would put his career back on track.

He could start of his run by getting over his former partner Axel and then slowly climb the ladder since he has an array of heel opponents like Rusev, Miz, or even Brock Lesnar, all offering a fresh feud for the monster.

#3 Brock Lesnar

Vince McMahon’s promotion is in such a low that their champion is nowhere to be seen and no one really knows what he is up to while he takes time off from his job.

Lesnar has not been booked for a match at Hell in a Cell but the company can let him have a surprise match in the card.

Any of the non-booked mid card wrestler could issue an open challenge at Hell in a Cell which could then be answered by Lesnar. The champion having a surprise match against a midcarder would make the fans happy even though it would practically be a squash.

WWE could also build some tension between Lesnar and whoever wins the Cena – Orton match as it would make a lot of sense.

#2 Bad News Barrett

Barrett was having a great run as Intercontinental champion when he picked up the shoulder injury. The Brit was taken out of television immediately and had to give up his championship.

In the absence of Barrett, WWE built the intercontinental title scenario around Ziggler and Miz with Cesaro making it into the scene recently. Now, many would expect Barrett to be put back into the midcard when he makes his return, but he deserves more.

His main event run that he had with the Nexus some year back proves that he belongs there and WWE could build up Barrett as a new babyface since there is a certain lack in that department.

A big return and a feud with Cena would be mouthwatering for the fans and then again, there is also the chance of Nexus 2.0 with the NXT superstars.

#1 Bray Wyatt

If Bray was to make his return right after his feud ended with Chris Jericho, he wouldn’t have been in the list. However, after the cryptic messages he gave out recently Bray has managed to breathe some life into his character.

The WWE Universe is clearly excited about the plans Bray might be involved in and Hell in a Cell will be the best place for him to make a return.

There is no news on the status of the Wyatt family meaning that we could see Bray as a singles wrestler when he makes his return.

Returning as a babyface is pretty much in the picture as well and with the cult following he has, Bray as babyface would give turn out to be a success story.
