WWE Hell in a Cell 2014: Top 5 moments of the Pay-Per-View

The Hell in a Cell gimmick is designed in such a way that it ensures a plethora of spots and when a pay-per-view is centered on that, the fans surely had their expectations high about moments that would drive them out of their seats.Well, WWEs latest pay-per-view ventured didnt disappoint in that aspect. Along with solid matches, there were a lot of spots throughout the show that made the fans scream their lungs out.Names like Ambrose and Rollins seemed like they were destined to be in such situations and ended up giving moments worth cherishing for a long time.So since the pay-per-view concluded in style, here is a look at the best moments that came out of last night.

#5 The whole Bellas match

While the Dean Ambrose – Seth Rollins match was expected to steal the show at Hell in a Cell, the match between Brie and Nikki was supposed to be a forgettable mistake.

But did the girls surprise us or what?

There weren’t any bit of intensity missing from the match as the two divas who knew eachother like the back of their hand gave out everything they had.

The stipulation also added to the performance as there was certain desperation from both sides to come out as the winner. Exceeding expectations and delivering a great match makes the Bellas worth of a place in the list.

#4 Cesaro can turn submission into superplex

Many might not agree with this opinion, but WWE has no lack of magical performers in their current main roster.

Dolph Ziggler and Cesaro belongs to that category and when WWE booked a championship match between the two with a two out of three falls stipulation, it was a sure shot success story.

The two men went on to have a great bout but one spot stuck out from the lot which probably belongs with the best ones that were produced this year. Ziggler locked in a submission move in the middle of the ring and Cesaro with sheer power carried the Showoff all the way to top rope and gave him a superplex.

Cesaro’s power and Ziggler’s selling made it the best spot of the match and both men should think about having more matches at this rate of excitement.

#3 Mizdow is gold

Words aren’t enough to explain how entertaining Damien Sandow has been in the stunt double character. The fans had a tough time buying into the gimmick at first but being a brilliant performer, Sandow sold the thing out.

Miz faced Sheamus at the pay-per-view for the United States championship and for every move that Miz took; Sandow was selling it better than the Awesome one even if he was simply acting.

After the match, Sheamus even found some time to help Sandow get more over with the fans. the post-match performance from Sandow showed how he has outgrown his original and there is a lot of potential in the duo waiting to be mined out.

And hopefully, WWE would give Sandow what he deserves after he showed that he could take crap and turn it into gold.

#2 Ambrose and Rollins do a Shawn Michaels spot

If one thing was sure about Hell in a Cell, it was about the high qualify spots that Ambrose and Rollins were going to produce in their main event match.

Ambrose made the fans drool from the start when he climbed on top of the Cell and heartbeats started rising when Rollins along with his stooges made it to the top as well. We’ve seen the Cell panel breaking accidently in the past and having four men on top was clearly a big risk.

What followed was something which took everyone to the very first Hell in a Cell match.

Ambrose and Rollins went crashing into the Announce table just like Michaels did in his match against Taker and then the rest was history as both men went on to give spots after spots throughout their match.

#1 Hes got the whole world in his hands

Taking a long break from the television seems to have done wonders for Bray Wyatt who literally stole the show at Hell in a Cell with his big return.

After a forgettable outing against Chris Jericho, many expected Bray to be pushed into the midcard when he returned, but Bray proved otherwise.

He came out in the best way possible and immediately embarked on a feud with Dean Ambrose, who at the moment is the most over babyface in the company.

We’ve had Bray – Ambrose matches in the past as well but that were during the times when the Shield existed. Ambrose has come a long way from the faction and a full-fledged feud between the lunatic fringe and the eater of the worlds would be nothing short of spectacular.
