Hell in a Cell 2015 - 5 Promising developments

Alberto Del Rio made a surprise return

Wyatt being hurled onto the cageHell In A Cell will go down this year as yet another PPV we thought nothing much of but came out looking much better than expected. The Undertaker and The Beast finally delivered a match worthy of being watched again. Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns did not disappoint at all. The Divas were great as well and it’s finally time to say goodbye to Cena for a while.A return and an unlikely alliance also marked this show. But we have so much to look forwardto as Monday Night Raw kicks off tomorrow. And it sure looks like Undertaker is here to stay for a while. Here are the 5 promising developments from Hell in a Cell-

#1 Alberto Del Rio returns

Alberto Del Rio made a surprise return

John Cena opened the PPV first thing after the pre-show match. He came out to more of a positive reaction since this was the big curtain raiser.

Who’s going to walk in and face Cena for the much entertaining US Title Open Challenge was the big question. Out came Zeb Colter in a vehicle that looked more like John Laurinaitis’ scooter during the ‘People Power’ era.

And then he sort of amended his principles and called out Cena on his character’s polarizing aspect. Colter wanted no divisions anymore. He wanted people of all backgrounds to come together. That led him to introduce Alberto Del Rio which got a good pop.

Del Rio beat Cena clean, which is a welcome change. Also, this partnership between Colter and Del Rio can be interesting further down the line as the possibilities are intrigiung.

#2 Reigns\' momentum continues

Reigns conquered Wyatt

Two of the most promising talents in the WWE, two men who’re strongly touted as the next big superstars provided the best match of the PPV.

This is the cage match that this year's PPV will be remembered for in the future. This was an out and out breathless, back and forth brawl that took three kendo sticks, three tables, many encounters with the barbed structure and a whole lot of stiff moves to reach its conclusion.

Reigns and Wyatt looked really good and the fact is Reigns has had a terrific year. This match is another example at how much he’s improved and how much he’s capable of working a long match.

Afterall, Reigns’s forte may be hardcore matches.

#3 The Divas match

Charlotte and Nikki Bella provided one of the best matches of the show

This was great since the moment these two women walked out of the curtain without their respective teammates. Nikki Bella was the perfect enforcer. She decimated Charlotte’s back and The Nature Girl sold that pretty well.

This match was one of the best matches the main roster divas have had this year. Charlotte showed enough attitude which works in her favor. The chops, talking back to the referee and that triumphant scream after countering her opponent were all good touches.

But Nikki Bella came out looking much better as even the audience greeted her with cheers. So much so that it won’t be too much if she wins the title again. She looked like the experienced, hard hitting veteran here.

#4 Cesaro! Cesaro!

Cesaro was the clear star in the pre- show tag team match

Nobody and I mean nobody in the current scenario of WWE, is as electric in the ring as Cesaro.

The man boasts of a presence simply because he’s the best there is when it comes to wrestling inside a squared circle. The grace and strength that he boasts of is something to behold. He was the star of the entire pre- show bout which had many talented stars. Also, can’t wait for his feud with Stardust to kickstart properly.

Cesaro can never have a boring match. Never.

#5 Into the Darkness

The Wyatt Family gang up on The Undertaker

Out of the three Lesnar Vs Taker matches, this one was the best. Undertaker’s last waltz inside the hellacious cage was something to behold.

The two men made this feel like a main event and delivered a big match. It took so much out of both men and it all ended after Lesnar followed a low blow to Undertaker with an F-5. What’s even better is that the Wyatt Family came out to attack Taker after the match.

That means we now know who Bray Wyatt’s next prey is and this is great precisely because they have some history. It’s Wyatt’s turn to be put over by Taker.
