WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 15 December, 2014

After sitting through TLC, the fans were wondering why the company’s big shows like these cannot be booked like the ones in NXT. Their outing on Sunday was nowhere near the show that was put up by Triple H a few days back and Vince McMahon clearly has a lot of mess to clean up.With the Royal Rumble approaching rapidly, there is no time to waste as well. if the company is to show signs of improvement here and there, they would be dropped first on this week’s RAW.This might not be as big as the RAW which follows WrestleMania but considering how the product is going, there are a lot of things to be sorted out. So here is a look at the things we should look forward to.

#5 Feed us more

The match between Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose was clearly one of the standout bouts from Sunday. Both men delivered a classic encounter which didn’t miss a beat when it came to intensity.

There were high hopes when these two were put into a feud and as each week pass by, Bray and Ambrose are exceeding those expectations. A lot of great promos and matches are still yet to come from these two and WWE should not pull the plug on this feud just yet.

The ending of the match opens up the door to extend it all the way to Royal Rumble and Monday Night Raw will give a much clearer picture about where the match is heading.

#4 Burial Games

WWE built up many superstars ahead of TLC only to make them lose when it mattered the most. Names like Seth Rollins, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were desperate to get a win under their belt to keep the momentum going but instead of that, the company thought otherwise.

Big Show getting over Rowan wasn’t necessary at all since Show is going nowhere with this win. Harper on the other hand lost out his Intercontinental Championship without even having one proper defense.

Rollins is the most badly affected one from the lot. He was the victim of the typical John Cena winning situation and the fans are going to hate WWE for what they are doing with him. All these three men need to be projected good this time around and hopefully WWE would not mess up.

#3 The Ziggler Era

Dolph Ziggler stealing the show at Survivor Series made the WWE Universe go wild. However, everyone had a concern about the future bookings that he was going to get. All those doubts were washed away on Sunday when the Show off once again captured the Intercontinental Championship after a solid match with Luke Harper.

It wasn’t pretty for Harper and he is expected to be the obvious next opponent for Ziggler while there is minute possibility of another name getting into the mix.

Either way, the fans are going to get treated by some solid matches during Ziggler’s reign and all of that would kick star on this week’s Raw.

#2 New general managers in town

The Attitude Era fans of WWE is going to get a treat on Monday as Edge and Christian would most probably be this week’s General Managers. The duo has been announced for this week’s show and having them there is sure to raise some nostalgic memories.

There is no clue on how and what the role would be played by the former Tag Team Champions but considering their history, the duo is most likely going to come out as baby faces.

Also, the company is in need of some desperate momentum after TLC and using Edge and Christian would be a great way to ease off the pressure as well.

#1 The final battle

John Cena’s win over Seth Rollins at TLC now confirms his No.1 contender status for Brock Lesnar’s championship. WWE wasted no time in promoting the match as well since it has been already booked for Royal Rumble with the tag ‘The final Battle’.

However, the job is only half done. A match between Cena and Lesnar is obviously not going draw like it did the first time unless WWE gets Lesnar back on television.

He has lost his entire momentum and the title’s credibility due to his long absence and the Beast should regain that before he locks horns with the Cenation leader. We can expect a full-fledged confrontation between Lesnar and Cena this week and if we are lucky enough, it could get nasty as well.
