WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: 24 November, 2014

There are some rare moments in professional wrestling that leaves you in tears. And it ain’t the tears that coming running out due to some sad outing, it’s the tears of joy that come after witnessing a great wrestling show. Survivor Series was a show that belonged to this category. No, not every match of the pay-per-view excelled, but WWE flew the roof off when it mattered the most. WWE gave out their second longest running pay-per-view for free and the idea was to attract new subscribers to the Network. That mission was completed in style. What now follows would be another episode of their weekly flagship show, Monday Night Raw and here are some things that we could expect when the show hits Indianapolis.

#5 New champions in town

Two championships were defended at Survivor Series on Sunday and both those titles changed hands. First Miz and Mizdow got hold of the tag team championships from Dust Brothers and they thoroughly deserved it as well.

Then there was the great botch saga between AJ Lee and Nikki Bella. The match didn’t even see the one minute mark and all of AJ’s credibility went flushing down the drain thanks to a loss like that.

The new champions will probably having celebration angles this week on Raw. While Miz and Mizdow give out guaranteed entertainment, what puzzles everyone would be the future of AJ Lee. Dropping the title might hint at her rumored exit from the company and if that’s the case WWE would have a lot of work to patch up the divas division.

#4 Lunatic Fringe vs. Eater of the Worlds chapter 2

There was an infinite amount of potential in the Bray Wyatt – Dean Ambrose feud right from the moment it started. However, it felt a bit flat heading towards Survivor Series due to the lack of time spent for buildup.

Bray and Ambrose obviously deserved something longer, and they are going to get just in the coming weeks. Ending their match in disqualification has opened the doors for WWE to book the duo is a more violent encounter next time around.

Along with that, the added on time that they’ll get till TLC surely makes the feud more exciting to say the least. Monday will see the after effects of their clash on Sunday and it would be a segment worth watching.

#3 Triple Hs retirement plans

The most exciting prospect heading into Survivor Series was seeing the Authority go out of power. Though it was clearly predictable, one thing that most of us overlooked was the future plans.

Hunter and Stephanie no longer will be running things and there is a need for finding the alternative for them. Let’s keep the alternative situation aside for some time and concentrate on what can happen to the evil couple.

Stephanie seemed destroyed after the pay-per-view and Hunter was shocked as hell when he saw the ghost himself. After losing power in such an embarrassing manner, Triple H might be forced to be a regular wrestler once again or else he will go on to feud with Vince McMahon.

Both are mouthwatering prospects for the WWE Universe and the retirement plans of Hunter will be more clear once Raw starts rolling.

#2 Show off new born?

There were a certain things that could’ve been predicted about Survivor Series but Dolph Ziggler being the lone survivor wasn’t clearly on that list.

Not only did Ziggler come out looking like the best superstar of the show but he actually got a strong booking that he deserved for ages. From the moment he joined Team Cena, Ziggler has been going through hell and finally all that misery paid off on Sunday.

The company might’ve finally realized how great Ziggler can be and if that is the case, then the show off is going to get another main event push. And that ladies and gentlemen would be a ‘best for business’ booking from WWE.

#1 What does Sting want?

The 2014 edition of Survivor Series ended like a Christopher Nolan film. There were a lot of questions left to be answered and everyone is still trying to interpret the ideas of what happened.

Perhaps the biggest moment and the biggest question that everyone had about the pay-per-view was the appearance of Sting. It was a debut that waited for more than a decade and when that moment finally came, the whole WWE Universe was electrified.

Sting came out and made sure that justice was served but why does Sting care about the Authority or Team Cena? Who was Sting working for? Is he is the new Authority figure in town? There are a plethora of questions left to be answered and Monday Night Raw would have all the answers.
