WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 27 April, 2015

We are officially in that magical time frame where we start making up scenarios about all the new feuds that could happen after Extreme Rules. The problem with this stage, however is that WWE always has some plans of their own and they will be unfolded on Monday Night Raw.Just like most of the post pay-per-view Raws that happened in the past, this week’s outing will also be a big headache for the company as they will have to answer a lot of questions. At the same time, it will be an exciting time for the WWE fans, who could look forward to the road to Payback. With that said, here is a look at the possible servings that WWE could offer at this week’s Monday Night Raw.

#5 Will Bryan lose his title?

Daniel Bryan’s absence was one of the most striking things about Extreme Rules. Although there were rumors of him missing the pay-per-view, once it actually happened, the fans realized how serious the situation was. Bryan is also scheduled to miss the Payback pay-per-view and the obvious question rising would be about his championship.

WWE gave him the title so they could see regular defenses but now that he is out for a couple of months, the chances of the title going away from him are high. The way in which WWE fills the void of Bryan would be an interesting angle and Raw will probably have a lot more answers than Extreme Rules.

#4 Rise of Neville

Although Daniel Bryan’s absence was a big blow for the company, as far as Neville was concerned, it was a blessing. He got his first ever pay-per-view spotlight at Extreme Rules and not only that, he went on to win the match against Bad News Barrett.

The win has certainly pumped up Neville’s momentum in the company and he could go places if WWE lets him do the same. Neville is likely to continue his feud with Barrett as things stand now but WWE could always give Neville something new. Perhaps even a feud with the Cenation Leader for the United States Championship, speaking of which…

#3 Cenas open challenge

The weekly edition of Cena’s open challenge for the United States Championship is all set to continue on Monday Night. A lot of superstars have tried and failed so far and even though we know the outcome, the fans would love to see who comes out next.

The likes of Luke Harper, Big Show, Cesaro, Tyson Kidd are on one side of the roster while there are also potential long feuds for Cena in the form of Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt or Roman Reigns. Either way, hopefully, we will see some good action from the Cenation leader as well as his surprise opponent who is going to keep the suspense factor up.

#2 Future of Reigns

Roman Reigns exceeded expectations at Extreme Rules as he had a solid outing against Big Show. It was hands down the most exciting match on the pay-per-view in terms of action and Reigns now has some good momentum on his side. WWE’s plan of sacrificing Big Show to put over the Samoan has worked perfectly and what they need to do now is to let him take the new path.

There are certainly some good options available but locking horns with Seth Rollins will probably be the best available one for Reigns. It will not only give him credibility but will also bring back the ghost of The Shield, thus adding more layers to the story.

#1 The big red monster ready to unleash

Kane being the Guardian of the gate at Extreme Rules proved to be a great decision. Although the fans would have expected more from him, the whole angle where the Chicken Champion Rollins escaped made good storyline and WWE has many ways in which they could follow up.

A full blown feud between Rollins and Kane is certainly a possibility while there is a slight chance of Kane being the Authority’s final blow. The Authority has apparently run its course and if someone like Kane tears it from inside, it will make a lot of sense. No matter what happens, WWE should acknowledge what Kane did at Extreme Rules on Raw instead of just letting it go like nothing happened.
