WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: 28 April , 2014

WWE is all set to make their final stop before Extreme Rules on Monday when they brings Raw from Randy Ortons home town, St. Louis, Missouri. The finalization of the Extreme Rules match card is going to be the primary objective of WWE creative as they needs to add some more details to the already impressive card. Some matches (especially Shield vs. Evolution) still doesnt have an extreme rules twist to it which might be addressed.Along with that there are also some interesting appearances to look forward to. The usual dose of in ring action will also be presented to the WWE universe. So lets take some time to go into the depth and see the possible developments that could happen on Raw this week.

#5 The Wolverine in town

Hollywood stars making appearances on Raw isn’t something that a typical fan would like since WWE often put their regular names in awkward situation to make the guests look good.

This week it is going to be Hugh Jackman that will be on Raw for the promotion of his new X-Men movie. The last time we saw him, he was getting it on with Dolph Ziggler and if WWE makes him do the same it wouldn’t make any sense.

Ziggler is now a face and getting beaten up by Jackman will be the last thing he would need now.

and most importantly, WWE should make sure that they don’t bring Jackman as Wolverine and let him rip through someone with his adamantium claws. That would be so stupid right?

#4 Wooooooooooo

Ever since the Evolution reformed to take out the Shield, one thing that the fans have been screaming about is the absence of Ric Flair.

Flair was an integral part of the original faction and the fans have been missing him while others in the wolf pack have been chasing the hounds of justice.

But things might change on Raw as Flair is booked to make an appearance on Raw. Though the most likely thing he might do is joining back with Evolution, one can’t also rule out the possibility of him double crossing his former team mates.

Another thing that might happen is Shield taking him out even before he makes it into the ring. Whatever WWE is planning to do with him, Flair promises to shine.

#3 Bad News for Van Dam

The Intercontinental championship tournament is arguably the best thing that has happened to the title in recent history.

An array of talented men fighting it hard for getting a shot at the title simply made it a big deal and all of a sudden Big E looked like a champion who had a target on his back. After putting up some great matches, the tournament will finally come to an end this week.

Bad News Barrett and Rob Van Dam will battle out this week for a chance to face Big E at Extreme Rules and the match will surely be a cracker.

The result could go either way depending on what WWE has in mind. If Barrett is getting a good push, he might end up winning the title but if the company is willing to give Van Dam one last run with the gold, it might go that way as well.

#2 Stephanies Apology

Last week when Daniel Bryan came out with his wife to address the crowd, no one was expecting Kane to do such a big damage to the WWE World Heavyweight champion.

The big red monster was just ignoring the order of Stephanie McMahon as she tried to turn him away from destroying Bryan. It happened however, and Stephanie made it clear that she will be apologizing for Kane’s actions.

But is it really going to be an apology? If she was unhappy with what Kane did to Bryan, Kane would’ve served the punishment by now. Nothing like that happened which suggests that it could’ve been all Stephanie’s plan in the first place.

If that’s the deal, then she might face the consequences at the hands of Bryan or even Brie Bella whose addition to the storyline may lead to a cat fight with Stephanie in near future.

#1 Hes got the whole world in his hands

The feud between Cena and Bray Wyatt has been something interesting for the fans because of the excellent promos that Bray manages to pull off. The feud is near perfect with the exception being that Cena wins matches against Bray.

This week we are sure to see another touch of brilliance from Bray , who is unmatched in WWE as the top microphone worker after the departure of CM Punk.

Last time Raw went off air, Cena was on the lap of Bray while he was singing “He’s got the whole world in his hands”, that was one of the best scenes from their feud, which also had some instances where Cena was tied to the rope wearing a sheep mask.

There is no doubt that this is turning out to be a feud that is taking Bray to the top of the food chain and the only thing that WWE should avoid doing will be to give Cena the upper hand ahead of Extreme Rules.
