WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 5 October, 2014

A good buildup for Hell in a Cell seems to be mission impossible at this moment after the WWE failed to add at least one match into the pay-per-view which is just three weeks away.Last week’s Raw was supposed to be crucial on the road to Hell in a Cell but apart from a brilliant Dean Ambrose, nothing was worth the well earned money that the fans spent for seeing the show. There is a lot of confusion floating around in the scenario as WWE prepares for another Raw.A plethora of questions are to be answered in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this week and the hopes are clearly high considering how bad the previous outings were. So here is a look at what all the WWE fans could expect from the latest edition of Monday night Raw.

#5 You are doomed

After being doomed by the booking of the WWE writers, the Wyatt Family might be looking shoot back into relevance with Luke Harper.

From the cryptic messages of Bray, it was clear that Harper will be getting singles push soon which is exciting to say the least.

Harper has been the stand out in ring performer of from the trio and has also shined in the limited time he got on the microphone.

It will be interesting to see whether Harper cuts all the ties with the family or just stick around with Wyatt being a manager like figure. Raw would clear the smoke regarding the situation of the Wyatts as Harper will most likely get a squash match somewhere in the night.

#4 Hell in a Cell match card

WWE’s annual Hell in a Cell pay-per-view is just three weeks away and sadly, the creative team hasn’t been able to come up with even one match for the pay-per-view.

There are a lot of developments going down in the roster but the only match that is worth of being booked is AJ Lee vs. Paige for the divas championship. Rusev’s feud with Show might be coming to an end before HIAC while Ziggler still doesn’t know who the No.1 contender is.

The chances of the tag team title finding a spot in the match card is out of the situation due to stale momentum while the main event scene is making everyone pull out their hair.

Lesnar is not confirmed, Cena and Ambrose doesn’t know what they are doing, Orton and Kane looks lost while Rollins hasn’t wrestled for ages. Hell in a Cell has all the potential to be a big mess up with all these unless WWE comes out with some good matches.

#3 Wrath of Lesnar

Paul Heyman’s address of Seth Rollins was something which got overshadowed due to the lunatic fringe. Heyman made it clear that Lesnar is not at all happy at what Rollins did at Night of Champions and pointed out that the Authority might have their hand in the same.

Though Rollins denied the involvement of Hunter in the incident, judging by Heyman’s expressions, the angle is far from over.

Lesnar has a long running history with Triple H and Rollins has simply reignited the whole thing with his curb stomp. There is a certain lack of opponents for Lesnar at the moment and Hunter facing the beast would be a big draw.

WWE should make big strides towards this if they want something good for Hell in a Cell as leaving out Lesnar from the pay-per-view would be a big blunder.

#2 Message from Reigns

Reigns hasn’t been around the WWE programming after he was injured prior to Night of Champions. Though his injury provided an ideal opportunity for Ambrose to return, the creative team still misses his presence up in the main event scene.

There is no news on when Reigns would be back in action but the fans in Brooklyn would get a firsthand experience of what Reigns has in his mind next.

He is scheduled to deliver a message to the WWE Universe on this week’s Raw. Though we are not yet sure about whether it would be a real appearance or a pre-taped segment, it is expected to put some light into the situation that has been confusing the fans a lot.

Fans of Hunter and Lesnar are recommended to keep their ears poised as these are the possible names that Reigns would address in the segment.

#1 More craziness

Dean Ambrose stole the entire show last week with some crazy antics which once again dropped hints on him being the next Steve Austin.

His feud with Seth Rollins is turning out to be one of the best storylines in the Modern Era even if the WWE made a big mistake by involving Cena into the mix. There is a lot of friction between Ambrose and Cena on who will get to Rollins first.

And the cat and mouse chase of Rollins along with this friction is sure to take the centre stage once again on Raw.

WWE however will have to make better use of Kane and Orton in the scenario as the duo is looking lost amidst all the chaos and brilliance that Ambrose has been causing.

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
