WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: 9 June, 2014

Last week turned out to be such an eventful one in WWE as the Shield who was having the run of their life exploded in front of the WWE Universe who came to see Evolution getting beat up again. The turn of Seth Rollins was clearly something that the fans didnt expect and it has left them wanting more while Batista leaving the company turned out to be another thing to cheer for the fans.Feud between John Cena and Bray Wyatt seemed to be up in the air as no clear direction was given and mid card also seemed a mess. This week, the fans will be tuning into Raw to get all the answers and here is a look at the thing that the company should address on Monday Night.

#5 Clearing the title scenario

So there is Sheamus, Bad News Barrett, Cesaro, Rob Van Dam and two titles. All these four wrestlers have been tangled in a big mess so far with the fans being unclear as to what title that the contenders are interested in.

At Payback, Sheamus defended the US title against Cesaro while Barrett defended his title against Van Dam. The next night Cesaro claimed his desire to get the intercontinental title and had some friction with Sheamus as well.

Van Dam had numerous shots at Barrett but failed to get the job done. From all the mess, one thing which we could conclude is that, Cesaro is desperate to have some gold around his waist. Hopefully WWE will give us more answers this week and clear some air in the title situations.

#4 Money in the Bank filling

As the next pay-per-view edges closer, the most important thing that the company would have to mention will be the contestants who will be fighting it out for the briefcase.

Alberto Del Rio was added to the card last week, but there are five spots up for grabs. There haven’t been many hints on who all are going to get the ticket, but one name that closely relates to Money in the Bank is Cesaro.

He might well be the next wrestler to be guaranteed a place in the match while Rob Van Dam also would love to return near the ladders. There are also rumors of John Cena entering the match which will definetly give it some star power that it clearly needs.

#3 The clock ticks on

At Payback, Daniel Bryan was given an opportunity to choose between the title and his wife’s job. The decision was made simple by Brie Bella who decided to walk out on the company rather than being fired by Stephanie.

However, Stephanie struck back well on the night that followed and announced a stretcher match between Bryan and Kane at Money in the Bank.

Bryan is facing an uphill battle at the moment to make it back in time for Money in the Bank. And even if he manages to get back, it would be interesting to see to which extent he could perform.

As far as this week is concerned, Bryan will be there to give a reply to Stephanie McMahon and since it’s the first time he will do so after his wife walked out, it’s going to be one worth watching.

#2 Reborn

Bray Wyatt and John Cena had a great match at Payback which sadly ended in a way which most of the WWE fans didn’t want it to end.

Cena stood tall while Bray was left down unable to answer the ten count which made his character look weak. The company then made him disappear from Raw only to bring him back in SmackDown to give a cryptic message as always.

Bray said that he was reborn after the match with Cena which could’ve had a million meanings. The most logical one would be that the feud between Bray and Cena is over meaning that the company should find someone new for Bray to feud with.

If it hasn’t ended, then Bray is going to toss out another offer for Cena which he might not be able to refuse.

#1 Trust is dead

Rollins found his new friends that made him turn on his old ones. The company acknowledged the relationship between Rollins and Hunter throughout SmackDown but one thing that the fans will be eager to see will be the reaction of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

They are yet to react to the big swerve that Rollins pulled off and the after effects could be destructive. The curiosity levels are on an all-time high as to what the company has in store for the remaining Shield.

Reigns and Ambrose are surely going to be vocal about what Rollins did and Hunter will be looking for a way to make them shut up.

Rollins turning on the Shield was only the beginning as we are sure to witness a whole lot more as the weeks pass by with this Monday being the first chapter.
