WWE Monday Night Raw preview: July 13, 2015

Charlotte and Sasha Banks

Charlotte and Sasha BanksA mans ability to cause chaos was the main theme of last weeks Monday Night Raw. Brock Lesnar, who was taken down by the Authority a couple of weeks back, came in and delivered a message to all his rivals by tearing apart the Cadillac. Lesnars destruction has managed to attract some eyeballs, and WWE should put these to good use this week on Raw.Following up with a bad show would be the last thing they would want before Battleground. This weeks Monday Night Raw will come from Atlanta and with still a lot of work to be done ahead of Battleground; here is a look at the possible angles that WWE could book for their flagship weekly show.

#5 Rumoured debuts

Charlotte and Sasha Banks

It is pretty hard to believe the rumours that appear on the Internet these days. However, the one about possible Diva debuts this week is worth mentioning. Paige is currently in a battle with the Bella Twins. The numbers are clearly not in her favor and she needs someone to back her up. And she might just get lucky this week.

There are rumours about the possible debut of Charlotte and Sasha Banks as they are scheduled for Raw and SmackDown this week. The duo is apparently set for SummerSlam as well and we could see a big shift in the Diva division if the speculations turn out to be true.

#4 Cooking the undercard

Randy Orton

WWE’s Battleground card still has some voids left to fill. Apart from the matches already booked, they need to add some more. The first possibility here is a Divas Match. A match between Nikki Bella and Paige for the Divas title is the most likely scenario here, but we can also expect a six-women tag team match if the debuts mentioned in last slide happens.

Randy Orton – Sheamus scenario is destined to find a place in the match card as well. Though there is minimal heat on the feud, WWE will be pushing it hard since Sheamus holds the Money in the Bank briefcase. Neville, Bad News Barrett and Dolph Ziggler are the other candidates to get a match.

#3 Decorating the storylines

Ryback and Big Show

While adding new matches to the Battleground is an important job at this week’s Raw, WWE will have to decorate the current ones. They have so far lined up five matches for the show, but most of the buildups have been flat. The Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt feud is not clicking with the fans while Tag Team title matches are only fun while they last.

Intercontinental championship, on the other hand, looks like a big mess with all the chants that go against Big Show. Working on these angles would be a big headache for WWE and they should make sure that they succeed in making all these interesting.

#2 How can Seth survive?

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar redefined the world destruction last week. The Beast was on the loose and he took out everyone that crossed his path. J & J security is now out of action after what happened leaving Seth Rollins alone in front of the Beast. Last week, Seth was lucky enough to run away from Lesnar, but how long can he run?

Lesnar is going to get the better of Rollins at some point and there is a big chance of this happening in Raw. Bringing back Kane would be a possible option but then again, it takes away the fun. Rollins might get a visit to Suplex City this week on Raw and this makes the segment worth watching.

#1 The Best thing about Raw

John Cena

The WWE championship and Brock Lesnar might be big draws in the company, but the best ongoing feud is the one between Kevin Owens and John Cena. These two men have been involved in an epic saga so far and Cesaro has raised the level. Cena and Cesaro gave out a memorable match last week on Raw and from the post-match reaction; Cesaro is destined to stay in the title picture.

Owens will not be happy with the new inclusion, and he will react. We could get singles matches involving these three or we could see the Open Challenge of John Cena. Either way, this feud is going to make the fans happy and that is apparently what matters the most.
