Monday Night Raw preview: September 28, 2015

The New Day is thriving in their current role

KaneAnother episode of Monday Night Raw is almost here. Vince McMahon is apparently freaking out about the low ratings and his desperation will be painted all around the latest outing. In the main event scene, WWE will be looking to address the situation regarding Kane and Seth Rollins. The much hyped Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar blow off match will also get a place in the card whereas Divas Division and Tag Team division will be the other major weapons at WWE’s disposal. In short, there are a lot of things that WWE could do at this week’s Raw to skyrocket their ratings and here is a detailed look at those storylines.

#5 Time to get the tables

The New Day is thriving in their current role

The New feud between New Day and Dudley Boys are far from over. There is a score to be settled between the two teams and they are likely to get into business this week as well.

A tables match between these two is being rumored for Hell in a Cell and if the rumors turn out to be true we can expect some interesting exchange at this week’s Raw. Other teams will be eager to get their spot under the limelight as well. Dudleys have clearly made the division more interesting and WWE will now have to make good use of the same ahead of Hell in a Cell.

#4 New challenger for Cena

John Cena’s US open challenges spawned great matches

John Cena got his hands on the United States Championship once again at Night of Champions. He defeated Seth Rollins to have another title reign and the next obvious move from WWE’s side would be to find him a fitting challenger.

Cena has locked horns with almost all the mid-carders in the current main roster and coming up with a fresh feud for him at this moment will not be an easy task. Someone new from NXT would be a great choice or bringing back some established wrestler will also work. Either way, WWE should make their intentions clear at this week’s Raw.

#3 The blow off

Undertaker would want to finish off the Lesnar saga with a decisive win

WWE has announced the rubber match between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar for Hell In a Cell.

It is expected to be the blow off of their lengthy feud and we can expect a lot of promotion ahead of the match. For that, WWE will have to bring in Lesnar and Taker to Monday Night Raw. The company will not be able to push forward the feud in their absence.

We have already seen a lot of angles involving Taker and Lesnar and WWE will have a paramount task of coming up with something new for the fans to think about. No matter what, WWE should somehow make Taker or Lesnar appear at this week’s Raw.

#2 CM Punk of the DivasdDivision

Paige as heel is best for business

Paige turned the Divas division upside down last week when she delivered a pipe bomb promo.

She told everything that an actual fan wanted to tell and it ended up attracting a lot of attention. As things stand now, Natalya is back in the mix and Charlotte has some headaches to deal with. Paige’s heel turn was perfect and she is sure to blow the roof off with her heel brilliance.

Nikki Bella also deserves a title match. All these make the divas division an interesting place to be. Paige should be the centre of focus no matter what WWE does as she has the talent to be the CM Punk of WWE’s divas division.

#1 Dilemma of the big red monster

A final push for devil’s favorite demon?

It is hard to tell whether the current storyline involving Kane is good or bad. It is good to see him be the dominating monster that he is but at the same time, it is awkward to see WWE using the ‘multiple personality’ angle. We are destined to see a Seth Rollins and Kane square off in the end and only the path needs to be defined now.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will have a big role to play in the storyline as well. We will get a better picture of the whole situation through this week’s Monday Night Raw and hopefully, WWE will not mess things up like they usually do with such storylines.
