The Nastiest #RoyalRumbleIn5Words Tweets post the Royal Rumble

Social media is such a huge part of the WWE now. Even Vince McMahon admits it. He did so on the Steve Austin podcast. The WWE started a hashtag which has been trending worldwide since the past few days. It’s called #RoyalRumbleIn5Words.Lots of nostalgia there. There were some good one, some bad ones. The trend continued after the Rumble got over. And here are the many five words they’ve got for the WWE.FYI, #CancelWWENetwork is trending worldwide.

#1 CANCELLED

There is no doubt that the audience in the arena were left disappointed. So was the hardcore fanbase watching on the internet and at home. Even after Daniel Bryan’s shocking elimination earlier on, they held onto the hopes of having Ziggler win and it slowly seemed like it is Ambrose’s night. They were cheering for The Lunatic fringe, for the Show off. But that was not to be. It wasn’t their night nor the audience in the arena’s night. Finally, they started cheering for Rusev and that didn’t pay off as well.

This user made good use of the hashtag.

#2 Rock\'s raised brows

Rock, raising one of his eyebrows is one of the famous characteristics in the WWE. Not one of his fan or non-fan can lie and say that they haven’t tried doing that. At the Rumble when he raised his cousin’s hand in victory, he had both his brows raised. Atleast he acknowledged the heat, the boos his cousin was garnering while Reigns looked completely unaware. The entire Rumble match was dominated by boos because of Ambrose, Bryan and Ziggler’s elimination. The only time Ryback got a cheer was when he clotheslined Reigns.

#3 Brotherly love won\'t save the day

See, Philadelphia is known to be a land of brotherly love and WWE played on the theme by the end of the night. It seems that’s how they want to defend their predictable decision - Has Rock rescued his brother from Show and Kane’s attack?. That got a pop but even that couldn’t fathom the boos that followed. We all loved that you came Rock. It’s not possible to have your theme song is played and we won’t cheer. But even that couldn’t bring the audience to settle with the jeering.

#4 It\'s all about the money, honey

As reported, this year’s Royal Rumble has been a much more expensive affair as far as tickets go. Of course, we all know the Network is for $9.99. But the prices of the tickets skyrocketed. The audience was as involved as ever. But the end of the night saw the arena mostly enveloped in disappointment. Even Reigns’ entrance theme couldn’t overpower the chorus of jeers. It might have been an illusion but when the people chanted ‘We want Rusev’ it seemed like they were saying ‘ We want refund’

At the end of the day, WWE has your money.

#5 That TV Show

As the TV Show goes, “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ but just hours ago, it was raining, or rather Reign-ing. It was raining boos, also

If the WWE does give so much heed to social media, the hashtags might just make a difference. Rest assured, WWE will put Bryan in a good position. This will be another rise of the underdog story. But still, how many times would you try that?
