WWE Night Of Champions: 5 matches that should be added to the Pay-Per-View

Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns

Seth Rollins and John CenaSummerSlam managed to make headlines both in good ways and bad ways. While some of the fans were not happy with how most of the match ended, others found happiness in the quality of those matches. It was a polarizing pay-per-view to say the least but WWE has the chance to make up for the same when they come up with Night of Champions. The next show on the calendar, Night of Champions, received a big boost through the recent edition of Monday Night Raw. WWE has managed to create a buzz for the show early on and some matches needto be added if the same is to be kept alive for the longer run. We take a look at those matches that WWE should add to Night of Champions.

#5 Wyatt Family vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Samoa Joe

Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns

The Wyatt Family grew stronger with the addition of Braun Strowman. The monstrous Strowman has shifted the feud in favor of Wyatt Family for the time being and Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose would need someone to level up the numbers game. There is a plethora of superstars who can fill in the role but someone like Samoa Joe would be perfect. Strowman made a huge impact with his debut and Joe could go a step ahead of the new Wyatt Family recruit.

Joe aligning with Reigns and Ambrose would kick start his main roster run in style and he would be a name to reckon with from the start itself.

#4 Dudleys vs. New Day (Tag Team Championships)

The Dudleys

The Dudley Boyz are back in WWE and they are going to take the Tag Team division to a different level. There is a new found interest in the division due to the return and it would be the best time for WWE to give Dudleys the gold. They have already sparked a feud with New Day from the looks of it and the only thing that WWE should do is book a title match at Night of Champions.

Dudley could go on to have a long title reign after the pay-per-view making it an interesting scenario. It also opens up the door for an exciting showdown between Dudleys and Usos when the twin brothers finally return.

#3 Nikki Bella vs. Charlotte (Divas Championship)

Nikki Bella and Charlotte

The Divas revolution is going through a rough patch right now. Although the in-ring action during the tag team match was good, it got a lot of criticism for the lack of storyline. This is something that WWE needs to address at the earliest and they should include the divas championship into the scene. All the six divas that are outside Team Bella are worthy of having a title shot but Charlotte might get the first chance.

There are rumors going around about the same and even if Charlotte does not win the title, it would be good to see someone new challenge for the championship. Also, Nikki’s reign desperately needs a title defense right now.

#2 Dolph Ziggler and Lana vs. Summer Rae and Rusev

Lana, Dolph Ziggler, Rusev and Summer Rae

Dolph Ziggler and Rusev had a pretty solid match at SummerSlam until Summer Rae and Lana came in and messed things up. Ending the match in such a way was not a popular decision among the WWE fans and WWE will have the responsibility of making things right at Night of Champions. Having another Rusev vs. Ziggler match wouldn’t sound great but they could easily go ahead with a mixed tag team match.

Lana’s first match is sure to create a lot of buzz and it will eventually be a major match in the card. Giving the women the spotlight will also go along with WWE’s current Diva Revolution theme.

#1 John Cena vs. Seth Rollins (United States Championship)

John Cena and Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is already booked for a match at Night Of Champions against Sting. The WWE World Heavyweight will be up for grabs during the match but that is not the only championship around the waist of Rollins. He is also the United States champion and with two championships, comes big responsibilities.

Rollins should be forced to do double duty at Night of Champions. Defending both the US Championship and the WWE championship on the same night will help Rollins add to his credibility and even if he loses one of the titles at the show, he will also have a good reason. After all, that is what heels want if they are losing a match.
