WWE Night of Champions: 5 things that should happen at the Pay-Per-View

There was Battleground and then there was SummerSlam. Both were two important pay-per-views for the WWE but one thing that distinguished these two were the reception they got from the WWE Universe.A string of poor booking decisions left the company red faced after Battleground while the complaint box was left empty after the summers biggest party. And as the writers gear up for yet another pay-per-view outing in the form of Night of Champions, the big question that lingers around will be how it would turn out. Clearly a lot of expectations and pressure riding on the occasion and there are certain things that the company could do to make sure that they dont screw up.So here is a look at some of those booking decisions that would make Night of Champions a better outing for everyone.

#5 Lesnar gets more brutal

The biggest story that came out of SummerSlam was the brutal beating that Cena got at the hands of Brock Lesnar. The 16 suplexes that Lesnar threw out at the Cenation leader got WWE a lot of mainstream attention and the Lesnar- Cena rematch is having high anticipation levels.

Now that WWE has the stage, one thing they should avoid doing is book Cena like theyve booked him for the past decade.

Whenever Cena took a defeat, it only served as a foundation for him to return stronger in the next opportunity he got. However, doing that with Lesnar at NOC would waste whatever WWE built till now.

Instead, if Lesnar goes out there and destroys Cena once again, it would make WWEs intentions clear about the changing landscape. And to freshen things up, they could even use the belly-to-belly suplex instead of German for this one.

#4 Face turn for Bray Wyatt

For one reason or the other, the WWE has decided to push forward the Bray Wyatt – Jericho feud all the way to Night of Champions. Luckily it won’t be going further since NOC would be Jericho’s last day for the current spell.

The feud is standing at a stalemate now with one win apiece and their encounter at NOC would be the creative’s idea of a tiebreaker.

No matter what the result would be, Bray would be the loser as the angle didn’t give him what he wanted. There are rumors of Sheamus being lined up as the next opponent for the cult leader but the best thing that they could do with Bray is a face run.

He has all the qualities of being a main event level face, and can flourish with a new array of heel opponents that he would have.

#3 New Tag Team Champions

The Tag team division is at an all-time high at this moment even though the title scenario is messed up. The Usos does not have a storyline right now and there are plenty of choices from which WWE could take their next challenger.

Wyatt Family has had their share now and would not be a contender to be involved in a direct match with the champions. The others include Big Show & Mark Henry, Rybaxel, Rhodes Brothers and Slator Gator.

From this Show and Henry is a team which could prove to be exciting new champions while the same goes with Wyatts.

And if WWE wants to make things lighter, giving the title to Slator Gator would do. No matter who wins it, the gold should be taken away from Usos at NOC.

#2 Reigns standing up to Hunter

Ever since the year broke out, there were rumors making the rounds suggesting that Reigns would be having his big money feud against Triple H.

The two got a lot of friction in between the Shield – Evolution angle but the one on one confrontation was still eluding the fans. Now that Reigns is having his lone wolf run, WWE could invest him alongside the cerebral assassin.

Orton apparently did everything he could to boost Reigns and their match at NOC if it happens would only be a formality.

WWE should not let the pay-per-view pass without letting Triple H make an impact due to the Network renewals that is coming up.

#1 Better stipulation for the maniacs

Dean Ambrose got his head smashed into the cinder blocks last week and is reportedly taking time off for the shooting of his movie project.

Though there are rumors of Ambrose being out till Hell in a Cell, the feud that he has with Rollins is still the best draw for WWE. Despite being confined to the lumberjack stipulations, Rollins and Ambrose gave a spectacular match at SummerSlam.

The Raw which followed showed what they could do under a proper gimmick and WWE could use this formula for another epic match at NOC.

Only problem that would hinder the creative team is the availability and if they could see over it, Ambrose and Rollins would literally blow the roof off.
