WWE NXT 25th November 2015- 5 Points to note

The champion signs the contract

In NXT's world, this was definitely a show of shows. This was headlined by a match that had every fan talking for the past one week. Eva Marie getting a title shot this soon was definitely the perfect instigator.Bayley had her second consecutive NXT main event and it was awesome. Also, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe signed the contract for the next NXT Championship match. This was a show full of NXT MVPs. The biggest babyfaces were all in attendance and it was overall a really good show, which began with a memorable contract signing and ended with a memorable match. Here are the 5 points to note from this week’s show -

#5 The Champ doesn\'t want to wait

The champion signs the contract

One thing you just can’t deny- Finn Balor’s got style!

The NXT Champion’s theme music hit the arena after Michael Cole stated a list of announcements. While Balor is enigmatic as The Demon, he looks equally dapper suited up when he’s not being The Demon.

Also, that moment where fans spread their arms in the air in tandem with Balor is a state of pure euphoria. His promo delivery though is quite flat. And that is the arena where Samoa Joe is clearly great. But he didn’t need to say anything at all.

#4 Speaking volumes

Samoa Joe means business

While Finn Balor arrived, smiled, raised his arms in the air, shook hands with Cole - he was quite in his element.

Then he abruptly tried to look frustrated.

Samoa Joe arrived, signed the contract and left. Balor kept telling him to look him in the eye. The frown on Joe’s face, his nonchalance and his eventual walkout after doing what needed to be done spoke volumes.

It was simple and significant. In a matter of a few seconds he not only looked great as a character, the match was set up and the tension made clear between these two.

Coolest WWE contract signing ever.

But Joe did come back and then a brawl ensued. Joe got the upper hand this week. The feud is more interesting that it ever was.

#3 How you doin\'!

They’re back!!

Dash and Dawson had their rematch against The Vaudevillains and they won the match but what ensued later, is something that will have consequences. Enzo Amore and Big Cass returned to haunt the tag team champions. A beatdown took place and the most over tag team in WWE right now took out the champions with ease.

As NXT’s London tour nears and as Dash and Dawson don’t have any opponents confirmed so far, it seems Amore and Cassidy will get a shot at the tag team titles.

But like Bayley and Zayn, their eventual victory for the tag titles will be euphoric.

#2 The Trap

This isn’t over yet.

Dana Brooke and Asuka were supposed to have a second match against each other, but after last week’s backstage segment between Brooke and Emma, we were clear that there is a trap in place.

That trap was just a simple Emma interference before the match. Asuka was overpowered eventually and had to eat Emma’s submission move. Also, Dana Brooke was clearly trash talking outside the ring which is a better use of this partnership.

They’ve actually grown into a good team. Hope this continues and this feud with Asuka doesn’t end soon with the Japanese star getting the better of them again and again.

#1 The Match You\'ve been waiting for.

Eva Marie vs Bayley- Great booking

Eva Marie is so vilified that it’s perfect. She’s the biggest heel in NXT right now. Her backstage interview with Tom Phillips officially introduced the new partnership or friendship, as Eva Marie likes to call it, between Marie and Nia Jax. Jax even accompanied her for the championship match against Bayley,

The WWE is aiming to get nuclear heat for Marie and they have been mighty successful so far. Firstly, Corporate gives Cole a call reversing Regal’s decision of not giving Marie a title match, then they had two referees for the match (one officiating and one supervising, also veteran ref Charles Robinson was the supervisor) and then they allowed Jax to accompany her for the match.

And then we had Bayley who looks and acts like a golden era babyface. This was a match between two polar opposites. Two extremes. Good Vs Evil. and it was perfection.

The booking has to be credited.

‘Eva Wins, We Riot’ chants began. So did the ‘Bayley’ chants later on.

Well, Jax pulled out the first referee after Bayley gave her finishing move to Marie. Marie would have obviously lost, but she wasn’t even disqualified later on. Robinson came to officiate the match now much to the confusion of the audience and Bayley. Another set of distractions and it was all so dramatic.

Also, I really liked the fact that referees were pulled out off the match again and again. You don’t get to see that much in a women’s match in the WWE.

Well, after much interruptions, Bayley won by giving Eva the second rope Bayley to belly. Jax later on attacked the champ and now it seems we have a new contender.

This was all awesome.
