Man of the moment

The Battleground fallout was obviously led by one point and one point only- the setup for an Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar rematch. After what happened in the main event,it led many into a frenzy since The Undertaker made an appearance and whether he was now still a face or a heel. Monday Night Raw showcased that it’s all more complicated than that. Undertaker has his point of view which is quite understandeable and agreeable, so does Brock Lesnar. And the animosity between these two is well understood and so is the continuation of that feud. Here are the 5 promising developments from this weeks Raw

#1 Cannot kill what won\'t die

Man of the moment

In his grainy barritone, Undertaker made sure that he’ll conquer what hasn’t been conquered yet- be it a mortal man or a beast. Immediately, Brock Lesnar Vs The Undertaker was made official for Summerslam by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a backstage moment.

This feud is not more about the character dynamic. Whether one is a heel or face. Both men have arguments that are agreeable. Undertaker is sick of listening to Lesnar and Heyman talking about beating the streak again and again.

Heyman and Lesnar believe that to be their greatest accomplishment, so why not speak about it.

This feud is more personal.

#2 The Revolution continues

Charlotte continued her momentum on Raw

The match that Charlotte and Sasha Banks had at their first PPV wasn’t just decent, it was an indiction of how great divas matches can be. It was a really entertaining match. Charlotte and Brie Bella followed it up on Raw and quite fraqnkly had the attention of the audience in the arena. The face and heel were cheered and jeered with equal vigour. The Nature Girl is already having agala time on the main roster. You can tell by the way the audience reacted to her victory.

It was part of said revolution that began last week. We were up for more later on in the night.

#3 Seriously, though

Still the boss

This was a pleasant surprise.

They did not just have one women’s match on the show, they had two. And both of them were quite good. This match was a tag match that featured Paige, Becky Lynch, Naomi and Sasha Banks. Just when you thought that Charlotte is the one who’s most protected, you were asked to think again.

While we were waiting for Lynch’s debut in a match and expecting it later on in the weeks, it happened this very night and it seems WWE is seriously looking towards revitalizing the division. It’s great that they know what talent they’ve got in their hands. These three NXT recruits can very well main event PPVs one day

#4 The Brawl

The fight is ON!

If you had any doubt about The Undertaker's or Brock Lesnar’s involvement heading into Summerslam, by now you should know that they are the main event and on Monday they made it matter like one. Paul Heyman first came out for his own promo time to explain his client’s vantage point and kept on incessantly talking about how beating the streak is his client’s biggest achievement and that’s why they will keep repeating it.

Undertaker came out to stop Heyman and that led his loyal camaraderie to make his way and start a brawl that spread across the ring till the backstage area.

#5 The title or the man

Two champions

It’s very characteristic of John Cena to come out and give his opinion on just about anyone. So, when Cena did come out to tell Rollins what the face who runs the place thinks about him, it was interesting but very much expected. This segment showed how Cena can handle a crowd. Rollins was good but Cena had the meaty part and when you see these two standing in the ring, you can make out the difference between these two champions. Cena has made the US Title mean something but Rollins is still a really good heel holding a title.

Why this segment works is that it puts forth the challenge Rollins has in front of him- to make himself worth something, to be considered one of the greats. This may have implications in the future.
