WWE RAW 21st October 2014- 5 Promising Developments

23rd october is long gone but the go home show definitely had its moments. Many things worked and few didn’t. There was shocking turn, great promo by great legend and many more developments. But it did leave many promising moments to look forward to.Here are five of them:

#1 A New Stipulation

Even though we’ve seen one of the most overrated rivalries in the WWE play out a million times in front of our eyes, WWE tried to make things a little more interesting and it succeeded in doing just that. The winner of the match between Orton and Cena will face Lesnar for the biggest prize in WWE today. What’s interesting is that Orton has the best chance of facing Lesnar than Cena does. Atleast as far as intrigue goes that feud seems interesting. Orton even went on to attack Heyman. The signs are already showing.

#2 Foley\'s Promo

Dean Ambrose and Mick Foley met again. This time in front of a live crowd and that too in front of a Raw crowd. Mick Foley really sold the match to the core. He actually sold the brutality of the stipulation. It helped that he was involved in one of the most memorable spot from any hell in a cell match. He masterfully sold the story of the math and the danger that these two men will face in that cell.

#3 The Turn

Probably, the biggest takeaway from this go home show was the attack that Rollins ensued on his partner in crime Randy Orton. It was a shocking way to end the show. It might also get the fans talking about a probable shield reunion but that seems out of the equation right now. The cracks are already showing in the Authority’s empire. That is bound to make things a lot more interesting.

#4 The IC Title flourishes

Cesaro and Ziggler have great chemistry- that’s a fact. Both men had a spectacular match on Raw and that match resulted in Cesaro winning. That is got to give him another title shot. And that is bound to give us another stellar match. Two great workers. One great match is all one can ask for.

#5 Miz VS The Miz

Now that miz is out of the IC title picture, it looks like wwe is finally banking on sandow’s popularity. Sandow won the match for his team and that setup a sequence where fans could actually sense some tension flowing in between the real miz and the stunt double miz. this might be the best thing for sandow at the moment.
