The pride of the tag division

The man named StingWWE RAW was better than what Summerslam was. It wasnt as great as NXT Takeover, but this was a pretty nice fallout show. There were two returns- one that was mildly expected and one that was not expected at all. There was a debut which looks set to be a good journey and there were some storyline elements that took place. Also, Jon Stewart was there to reason his interference in Cenas match. Well, what transpired seems to be his very last appearance for some time now. Anyway, this was a good Raw that set things up for the future. Here are the five promising developments from this week.

#1 A new day for the tag team division

The pride of the tag division

It’s a fact, New Day have been the best 3 Man tag team since The Shield. They don’t look gangster cool, but they have a special sort of heel appeal.

They’re ridiculous and they know it. They just relish over the fact that this enthusiasm gets them the jeers. Do what people don’t want you to do. And the hardcore fans are loving their act. That’s a testament to how well you’re playing your character.

The new tag team champs came out to face the Lucha Dragons. Xavier Woods came out with a trombone and used it sufficiently at ringside. He played it while Big E was leading a barrage of punches. The clapping, the trombone, everything was great.

But everything got much, much better when.....

#2 Get the tables!!!

They’re back

The Dudley Boys returned.

‘Oh My God!’

The rumors were swirling since Royal Rumble this year that these two will return but better late than never. This was marking out, getting back up and marking out again kinda moment of the year. This actually happened. Can’t blame anyone for feeling like a little kid again.

This was amazing and this was done in New York.

#3 A third guy

The black sheep is Braun Stowman, a former NXT star

The Wyatts faced Reigns and Ambrose again.

Just when we wondering what was the point of having this match when it already happened 24 hours ago along came Sister Abigail’s black sheep.

The Wyatt’s now have a thrid member who eerily enough looks a lot like Harper and Wyatt. And immediately looks like a perfect addition. He was enough alone to take out both Ambrose and Reigns.

That means the Shield soon needs a third member.

#4 You knew there was no statue

‘The vigilante’ is back

The whole time during the main event there was this big reveal about Seth Rollins’ statue. And as an ardent fan you knew that wasn’t going to happen.

Because on a fallout show things are built for the future. Storyline elements are involved and in the next few weeks, they take shape. So, the entire time Triple H, Stephanie and Seth Rollins were talking, one could feel bad about whoever was standing on the curtained podium.

The curtain rose and voila, It was ‘Sting’!

A great way to end the show and continue the Authority storyline.

#5 The beast and his advocate

Not impressed at all.

This was an appearance usually scheduled for Lesnar after a PPV where Paul Heyman talks on behalf of his client and delivers a promo depending on his mood which varies for losses and wins.

So tonight was a more disgruntled, dismantling approach. Lesnar is pissed and so is Heyman. This has happened one too many times where Lesnar isn’t losing but is still losing.

Taker clearly tapped out and Heyman and Lesnar have some unfinished business with ‘The deadman’.
