What can the WWE do when there is no live show happening inside an arena because of a blizzard? How can there be promising developments?Well, the show always goes on in the WWE. Despite fans cancelling the WWENetweok in droves and the blizzard stopping the show from happening, WWE still managed a few storyline developments. How? Through various interviews. Ofcourse, they replayed the two most talked about and hyped matches of the Royal Rumble PPV. But in between they featured the stars who matter. Here are the five promising developments-

#5 Seth Rollins Interview

While Michael Cole and Seth Rollins were recapping the Championship match, we got to know what was going through Rollins’ mind at the pivotal moments in that amazing triple threat match. Rollins looked a bit worn out and that was good considering the work he put last night. But he made sure to mention that he isn’t someone who’s going to accept that loss. He thought Lesnar underestimated Rollins and vice versa and that the 28 year old is not done yet chasing that title. His arrogance was shining towards the end and he was bold enough to not even give a darn about Lesnar’s interview which was coming next

#4 BRRROOCCCKKKK LLLEESSSSNNAARRRRR

The subject of business was picked up and Brock lesnar looked and lived upto his special attraction status. Heyman is effortless whenever he has to make his client look like a beast. Lesnar was nonchalant in his approach. He looked really comfortable. Lesnar is not the best guy to do a promo but he says his lines as a matter of fact because they are facts. He doesn’t seem like he’s trying to remember his lines in this interview. This whole format just fit his persona. And then he just got lost in his words. It was a bit funny when he was talking about steamrolling people.

But here’s what the interview sold-

John Cena, Rollins, Undertaker- SO WHAT?!! That’s the phrase that speaks volumes. Lesnar doesn’t really give a darn about what the hype around them is or was.

If these guys are getting the So WHAT treatment, Roman Reigns won’t get any special treatment. Lesnar looked like he doesn’t even know who he is. That makes things interesting. The build up to Reigns’ interview was interesting.

#3 Roman Reigns Interview

The Road to Wrestlemania has kicked off the Road to the Roman Empire. But Rome wasn’t built in a day. And Reigns addressed those questions in his interview. It seemed like a casual interview. It still seemed a bit controlled as well. He elaborated about his family history and he addressed the response of the Philly crowd saying that the crowd is free to do what they want as they paid for their ticket and he said that he did expect a warmer response.

It was a little step towards knowing him better and that he’s ready to struggle and capitalize on his opportunities. This wasn’t really an interview which will settle it for the hardcore fans but would have been impactful for the casual fanbase.

#2 Dean. F@#$%^&. Ambrose

The most entertaining part of this understandbly toned down edition of raw was Dean Ambrose. His was the shortest interview. And he made the most of it. When asked about he got to the WWE Headquaters through the blizzard. He asked Saxton, as a matter of fact, who the heck he thought he was talking to. He wanted to clear his head and it was easy for him to get a ride from Philadelphia till the headquaters because people love him in Philadelphia. And he got into a brawl with a guy at a gas station and still made it here. The fact of the matter was that his road to wrestlemania is going to be twisted and nothing suits Ambrose better than that.

He’ll make it to Wrestlemania, People!!!!

#1 Reigns and Lesnar face off

Roman Reigns was put in a tight spot. He was sitting next to Lesnar who looks everything like a bully and then Heyman took Cole’s position to ask questions.

There is no doubt that throughout the interview both Heyman and Lesnar were looking down on Reigns and the 29 year old wasn’t. Don’t mind but Paul Heyman looked like Scar from Lion King talking about Reigns’ family members as if cumulatively they were Mufasa.

It was like a lesson Reigns was getting. And in all his silence and the few words he spoke, Reigns looked great.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens in front of a live audience, how they can work the crowd.
