This week’s Raw did not live up to the great show that Hell in a Cell was. It simply wasn’t but it sure started and ended on a great note. Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Ambrose came out looking like the best superstars. More than that Orton looked better than he has in this year. Here are the five promising developments for the very near future.

#1 The New Babyface or the New Anti-Hero

The night began with The Authority celebrating Rollins’ big victory at the main event of Hell In A Cell. Much was said with Rollins as the obvious centre of attractions. He is the golden boy of the moment, the apple of their eyes and then Randy Orton, the original Golden Boy who lost last night, reminded everyone that he was still around and RKOed Rollins to the delight of the audience. That was the greatest thing to happen to Randy Orton’s character which was in limbo for the better part of this year. It helps that Rollins has developed to be one of the most engaging wrestlers on the roster.

This made Orton a lot more important. He is now in serious anti hero territory or soon going to be in babyface territory.

#2 Rollins\' energy

A night after he went one on one with Dean Ambrose in another one of their great matches at Hell In A Cell, where he took a lot and maybe maximum punishment, he went on to face Cena in the main event of Raw which looked more like a PPV worthy match. That establishes a huge point about the extent of the dedication Rollins can have for each one of his matches. He hasnt really had a bad match since he turned heel and even when he was with the Shield, he never disappointed.

#3 Traditional Survivor Series match

The only good thing to come out of the resident face of the WWE, John Cena’s, long and overdone promo was that at Survivor Series The Authority will go against Team Cena. The Authority is really showing its cracks clearer than it ever did before and it’ll be interesting to see them work through that dynamic. But it just leaves the result a bit to predictable if Cena’s team wins. The interesting thing to see will be who joins Cena and who becomes the last man to survive at Survivor Series.

#4 Ambrose\'s mic work

It’s great that Dean Ambrose’s mic work was good against Wyatt on Raw but the entire segment did nothing to explain Wyatt’s actions at Hell In A Cell. It was just done away with, sort of. Ambrose was not that nutty case he was last week where it was just not great watching him make fun of a dummy. He looked serious and that alone promised the great set of interactions these two can have. More than that, the management seems to believe that too.

#5 Mark Henry\'s heel turn

Okay,so there is good news and some bad news

The good news being that Henry is back to being a heel which was a characteristic that made him be a dominating champion almost 3 years ago. But here come the bad news- he left his fellow compatriot who lost clean to Rusev, planted by the World’s Strongest Slam.

The promising development is that Henry is a heel and that Big Show is not the only man he’s going to face on the road. But still, hasn’t the audience had enough of two of these behemoths facing each other time and again.
