In our ongoing journey towards WrestleMania, so many storylines are unravelling and most of them are doing well. That’s the one thing that a fan expects the road to Wrestlemania to look like. The characters are developing in fine tune and finally there is more than the main event to be excited about. But since the biggest match to watch out for will be the coronation of Roman Reigns as the heir apparent, it’ll be much wise to see who he is up against. And that’s The Beast- Brock Lesnar. Here’s how his Road to Wrestlemania has been like-

#1 Journey since 2014

He was the adjudged the ‘Wrestler of the Year’ by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. And rightfully so. Nobody had as much impact as Lesnar did. He was booked as a conquerer and he inhabited that character to the core. He defeated Undertaker at WrestleMania - a feat never been achieved before, a feat which was thought to be impossible. He is the one in 21 and 1 and he will forever remain so.

Then came Summerslam and Lesnar not only defeated Cena, he decimated him. A beating seen like never before to the face who runs the place.

Lesnar walked out of 2014 with the minimal quantity of matches but the most impact possible. He’s a special attraction and he has lived up to the hype.

#2 Momentum heading into WM 31

In 2015, Lesnar was enraged at the audacity of Seth Rollins to place a challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, weeks after he shook hands with his advocate Paul Heyman. Seth Rollins happens to be a serial betrayer. Brock Lesnar seems to be an unbeatable and unstoppable force. Anytime he made his way to the ring, he always got a reaction from the live audience and then he was part of the best match of Royal Rumble this year and possibly one of the best triple threat matches in WWE history.

He was put through the announcer’s table, rampaged through the barricade and pushed towards the stairs. He broke a rib and still won the match. He showcased quite a dominating screen prresence.

#3 What to expect at Wrestlemania 31

Brock Lesnar began his WWE career as the ‘Next Big Thing’. In his second coming to the WWE he was ‘The Big Thing’. He’s set to face Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania. Paul Heyman is his advocate and he’ll make Lesnar seem like the most powerful person in the world and make it believable. He’s going to look down upon Roman Reigns. At this point, he’s clearly not a threat. It’s logical to have Lesnar not even acknowledge his presence, afterall he’s beaten Undertaker, Cena and Triple H and Reigns’ very own cousin The Rock back in the day.

Lesnar’s going to be spectacular but he knows, Reigns knows and the world knows that he’s going to lose.

#4 Aftermath to WrestleMania 31

There are many controversies that have harped in the WWE like gender inequality, leaked photos, tours to homophobic countries etcetra.

Another controversy evoked through the realms of WWE is Lesnar walking out of a scheduled appearance on Raw, following an argument with Vince McMahon where they were reportedly yelling at each other over the details of Lesnar’s new contract.

And then Lesnar entered the realms of UFC to be a spectator at Ronda Rousey’s match and he shook hands with Dana White.

That’s some major feul to rumours that he’s off to UFC after Wrestlemania 31.

He may just not make an appearance on the Raw after WrestleMania and that just addstothe mystique of his character.

#5 Future stock leading to WrestleMania 32

WrestleMania 32 is going to be held at the the AT&T Stadium in Texas and that could basically break all Mania attendance records. And Brock Lesnar has a presence great enough to draw a record audience. But since the negotiations for his new contracthave reached an impasse, it seems that he might not be a part of the biggest event in sports entertainment next year.

But just imagine the pop, if Lesnar eventually does return to the WWE later this year. Everything’s up in the air right now and unpredictability is more or less best for business.
