Top 5 WWE Rumors of the Week and Analysis: 1 March, 2015

Its that time of the week against where we pile up the top rumors of the past seven days in one place and dissect them into small pieces. The week after WWEs inaugural Fast Lane witnessed some pretty good speculations as well, making the job of picking the best ones a bit difficult. The Twitter movement for giving divas a chance in the WWE was one of the highlights of this week apart from the obvious topic of WrestleMania.Brock Lesnar walking out on Raw also resulted in some debates around the Internet as his contract extension is now up in the air. There were a lot of others perks around the internet and without further introduction, here is a rundown on this weeks top rumors and their analysis.

#5 Stephanie McMahon furious with AJ Lee

The tweet that AJ Lee sent out about Divas not getting proper treatment in the WWE was apparently not any storyline. It was purely a personal decision from the former Divas Champion and the McMahons are fuming over what AJ did.

Getting criticized about such a situation by your own employee has made Vince red faced but it is Stephanie McMahon who is angrier with the happenings. From the latest rumors, Stephanie appears to be furious with AJ and we might get to see some reactions to the situation when AJ returns.

On the positive not, the fans could get to see a Stephanie McMahon vs. AJ Lee match at WrestleMania if the creative team decides to bank in on this controversy.

#4 Shawn Michaels booked for WrestleMania 32

The dream of seeing Shawn Michaels once more at WrestleMania might become a reality next year. There are rumors floating around the net about Michaels being booked for WrestleMania 32 in Dallas with Triple H being the possible opponent for the Heart Break Kid.

Michaels retired from the WWE before five years when he lost a Career vs. Streak match against Undertaker. Despite a lot of pressure, Michaels stuck to his decision and hasn’t wrestled ever since.

The WrestleMania 32 plans however might poke up due to a special request from Triple H. Hunter wants to have his retiring match against Michaels and knowing how deep their friendship is, Michaels might accept the offer without hesitation.

#3 Sheamus to have main event run as heel

Despite being out of the WWE programming for nearly four months, the fans are not missing Sheamus at all. It is certainly something that the WWE should worry about but apparently the company has come up with a solution.

And that solution is: bringing back Sheamus as a heel, a main event heel. Read that if you want to read it again because that ‘main event’ word is not going to change. WWE is lacking in numbers when it comes to heels and Sheamus getting some spotlight would be interesting.

The choice of opponents for Sheamus would be the real problem for WWE. Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Dean Ambrose are the possible main eventers that could go up against Sheamus and just imagine how all those matches would turn out to be.

#2 Bray Wyatt vs. Undertaker to be a casket match

In case you have been missing all the latest news from WWE, take this down to your notebook: Undertaker is all set to return at WrestleMania and face Bray Wyatt.

Taker is not booked in the Monday Night Raw episodes leading to WrestleMania but his pay-per-view appearances are confirmed. The internet also saw pictures of Taker training for the match and he looks in good shape to be frank.

The twist in the tale rumor came late into the week. The match at Mania could now turn out to be a casket match, which will fit perfectly into the situation. The fans would not have many complaints about the gimmick but imagine Bray Wyatt getting trapped in a casket.

#1 Brock Lesnar wants to work for UFC and WWE

Brock Lesnar walking out from Raw was the top headline this week. The Internet is still buzzing about why Lesnar did so and rumored reasons ranged from Roman Reings failing a drug test to contract negotiations bombing.

For the record, Roman Reigns did not fail any drug test but apparently the contract negotiations did produce some frictions. Both WWE and Lesnar have no intentions of backing up on their demands.

The WWE champion is not happy about how the business is going in WWE and he is unlikely to settle for an exclusive WWE deal. There is room for hope for fans as Lesnar is willing to sign a deal that will see him in both UFC and WWE at the same time.
