WWE SummerSlam 2014: 3 possible endings for Bray Wyatt-Chris Jericho match

Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho are two wrestlers who will be up there among the list of best talkers in the professional wrestling business.Between the ropes also, both Jericho and Bray have been able to establish a unique style which made the fans high when the prospect of Jericho Bray feud was thrown at them. Expectation levels thus rose to the skies after when it began but soon cooled off thanks to Battleground.Jericho and Bray ended up giving one of the worst matches of the pay-per-view. WWE however decided to push the feud all the way to SummerSlam hoping that the two could live up to their potential. Its an important match for everyone involved so here is a look at the possible endings.

#3 Jericho does it again

The Result that came out at Battleground was more than a surprise for the fans as they didn’t expect Bray to lose once again in a pay-per-view. His feud with John Cena mostly gave Cena all the momentum and while burying Bray along the way.

Jericho was supposed to come back and breathe in some relevance back to Bray’s character but WWE just did the opposite when they let the eater of the worlds lose.

Now that they’ve done it once, the chances of another botched ending at SummerSlam are high.

Jericho might be willing to put over Bray at SummerSlam just like he did with Fandango at WrestleMania a couple of year ago, but then again, the whole decision depends on the creative team. They’ve been addicted to destroying good things fast and this make Jericho winning a possibility.

#2 Time to follow the Buzzards

Bray is a cult character that could go on to become a legend in the business if handled well. His initial feuds suggested just that but WWE took a wrong turn by having him face John Cena so early into his career.

This hurt Bray a lot and fans started to seem his as a mere mortal. It was simply against the monstrous character he builds up with his promos and one thing the company could do to make him credible would be to make him win at SummerSlam.

A big stage like SummerSlam and an opponent like Jericho is just what Bray needs to get back into the limelight.

Winning would also let him erase this year’s disappointment as well and build well for the next important period, which is the road to Survivor Series.

#1 A surprise turn

The shock factor has always managed to catch the fans off guard and make the match a hit no matter what the outcomes is. A turn from one of the wrestlers is going to grab the headlines and overshadow the result that WWE will book.

Bray turning face would be something that can revive his character. After ending up on the losing side so often, his heel run has lost its steam making it necessary for a turn.

On the other hand, Jericho could also turn heel and join the Wyatt Family. It could yield the same affect that Daniel Bryan had when he joined the Wyatts and hopefully the company would book Jericho better than how they booked Bryan in the situation.

However, apart from these possibilities, one thing that would blow the roof off is either Luke Harper or Erick Rowan turning against Bray. Harper would be the pick from the two as he is more polished in the ring and could stand on his own if the stable breaks apart.
