WWE TLC 2014: 5 feuds that could happen at the Pay-Per-View

TLC will have to be a miraculous pay-per-view if it wants to top Survivor Series but the funny thing is, TLC has all the potential to be just that.Unlike Survivor Series which was built up as a single match event, TLC could turn out to be the complete package and probably the best PPV of the year if WWE books their storylines correctly. After Sunday, there weren’t many feuds that could’ve continued all the way to the December outing and this give the creative some space to come up with some new angles along with improving the current ones.WWE will be looking to end the year with a bang at TLC and here are some of the feuds apart from the sure shot Bray Wyatt – Dean Ambrose one that they could throw in when the show goes on air.

#5 Three way bout for the Divas Championship

The excitement surrounding WWE’s divas division went to an all-time high after AJ Lee showed her true colors on Raw. The Pipe bomb that AJ dropped this week was the thing that made us love her in the first place and apparently her crazy side is back on television.

The Bellas on the other hand seems to have surprisingly patched up. Brie gave no explanation whatsoever for the newly found love for Nikki as well. Her tenure as the personal assistant runs out very soon and that points to a potential breakdown between the two sisters.

Mix up both these angles and WWE would have a great feud in the divas division heading into TLC. A battle between these three girls could tell a story which is what WWE wants at the moment.

#4 Swagger vs. Rusev 2.0

Rusev’s career graph has only gone up after his main roster debut. He started off squashing jobbers, slowly destroyed the midcarders, conquered the upper midcarders and won the United States championship before entering the main event scene.

His performance in the Survivor series main event suggested that Rusev will be facing some big name heading to TLC but that is not the case.

Instead of that, WWE is going to revisit the Swagger – Rusev angle once again. Swagger deserved to have another go at the Bulgarian Brute after how their last outing ended and that might’ve the motive for the writers as well.

There wouldn’t be much heat for the feud even if the match is expected to excel in between the ropes.

#3 Showdown between Erick Rowan and Big Show

Big Show turned heel at Survivor Series and saw the whole thing end up as a mess when Team Cena triumphed over the Authority.

There weren’t anything good that came out of Show’s heel turn and the best thing that WWE could do now is to use Show to put a face superstar over. And if someone needs to be put over in the current roster, it’s Erick Rowan.

Fans still hasn’t digested him as a singles wrestler despite the big reveal a couple of weeks back and Show is a veteran that could make Rowan look credible. The obvious plan will be to let Rowan and Harper face eachother at some point but before that Rowan needs to look dangerous and what’s why Show is crucial.

#2 Ziggler getting tired of Cena

WWE had the best opportunity to turn Cena heel at Survivor Series. Cena came out to congratulate Ziggler after the match was over and if Cena just gave an Attitude Adjustment to the Show off right there and then, it would’ve been a historic ending to the show.

That didn’t happen, but there is still a big possible option left for WWE to build up Cena as a heel. Ziggler is probably the most over superstar in the WWE roster after Sunday and with a firm backing from the WWE Universe, he could make Cena look like a heel.

There are accusations of the Cenation leader leaching around Ziggler’s big win and the only thing that needs to be done is to make this situation into a storyline.

A Ziggler – Cena match would be nothing short of mouthwatering at TLC as it’s this type of angles that the fans are looking for.

#1 Return of the Viper

Seth Rollins will have to pay for the sins he did. Now that the Authority is gone, there isnt anyone left to protect the architect leaving him completely exposed to the Vipers attack.

There is no date slated for eventual return but one thing that we do know about his return is the guy he will go against. Rollins has a big red target painted around his back and before the lights of Cena and Ziggler would settle their scores, Orton deserves the opportunity.

Ortons face turn gave him a lot of momentum before he was taken out of television for the film commitments and when he comes back, the fans will treat him just like how the company wants him to be treated.

The last time these two faced off it was a PPV quality match on Monday Night Raw and finally then they get an actual stage; expect these two to steal the show.
