WWE TLC 2015: Early match card predictions for the pay-per-view

Best option for Wyatts

The champ is hereThe Survivor Series ended on a note that made the WWE fans talk. Irrespective of whether it was negative or positive, everyone was talking about the show and that is what WWE wanted ahead of the upcoming WrestleMania. However, before we officially head on to the road to WrestleMania with Royal Rumble, WWE has a major stop to take at TLC.The December pay-per-view guarantees to bring in some carnage due to the gimmick it follows but on a wider angle, it will be about building up the roster for WrestleMania season. It is still early to start booking the pay-per-view but we are going to take a look at the possible match card.

#7 Wyatt Family vs. Dudley Boyz

Best option for Wyatts

This might go down as a big let-down for Wyatt Family and to an extent it is. but it is also the best option WWE has for them. Dudley Boyz are great microphone workers and it is a quality that Bray Wyatt also has.

These two teams, that have entirely different styles, locking horns on the microphone will be a treat for the fans. Also, the in-ring action is going to be good as we witnessed on Monday Night RAW.

Unlike the Brothers of Destruction feud, Wyatt Family will see a lot of action during the three-week buildup as well if this match is booked for TLC. Another possibility is the Dudley Boyz teaming up with Brothers of destruction to take on the entire Wyatt family.

#6 Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio (United States Championship)

Simplicity is always best

The beauty of simplicity will take centre stage when WWE will roll out the feud between Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio. Although on paper, the Del Rio vs. Swagger feud might not look big, it does have a solid story in it which makes it worth watching.

The involvement of Zeb Colter in the whole feud adds more depth and the United States Championship is going to get benefited in the long run if WWE does not screw up.

All they need to do now is tell the story without complicating things with unwanted angles. Swagger and Del Rio could build up the match for TLC over the next three weeks and face off in a meaningful bout that will have the story as the centre of attraction.

#5 Paige vs. Charlotte (WWE Divas Championship)

A Gimmick match please

The Paige vs. Charlotte chapter seemed to be over at Survivor Series with the dominating win of Charlotte but according to what we saw on Monday Night Raw, it is anything but over. Both these women were looking to punish eachother rather than win the match and it provides a good foundation for booking a gimmick match at TLC.

WWE could book a tables match or something similar between Paige and Charlotte at TLC and blow off this feud before it gets lengthy. Paige need not win the Championship from Charlotte but since she made a claim about the botched ending at Survivor Series, she does deserve another shot at TLC .

#4 Goldust vs. Stardust

Time for Dust vs. Dust

We wanted to see the Dust vs. Dust match a year back. Although it did not happen back then, we might finally get the whole thing this time around. WWE is heavily struggling due to the long list of injuries and the one to Cesaro worsened the situation.

From the looks of it, Cesaro was headed for a feud with Stardust but now that the Swiss Superman is out, Goldust can take his place.

As things stand now, the emotional quotient in the feud is pretty null but WWE could elevate the same in the coming three weeks. Simply putting these two in a match will not deliver the expected results but a well baked storyline can benefit everyone out there.

#3 Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens (Intercontinental Championship)

Ambrose deserves a shot at Owens

Dean Ambrose took the biggest blow at Survivor Series. He lost out in the final to Roman Reigns and when Sheamus cashed in the MITB contract, everyone completely forget about the effort that Ambrose delivered through the pay-per-view.

He is clearly out of the World Championship scenario and the best booking that WWE could give him now is a feud with Kevin Owens.

These two had some excellent chemistry during their match at Survivor series and now that Owens is looking for an opponent to defend his championship against, Ambrose fits into the description perfectly. This is a feud that could span across multiple pay-per-views and will be a thoroughly entertaining one as well.

#2 Usos vs. Lucha Dragons vs. New Day (WWE Tag team Championships)

New Day needs new feud

The Tag team championship did not feature in the Survivor Series card but it will be a different story at TLC. WWE will have to find a solid booking for New Day and from what we saw on Raw this week, they are likely to go with a three-way tag team match for the championship.

The Usos and Lucha Dragons provide New Day with some credible challenge and we are bound to see some good in ring action when these guys will get it on at Survivor Series.

The buildup could be an exciting one as well since all three teams will be trading punches with each other for the stake of the Championship.

#1 Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

Sheamus and his stooges

This is the first official match announced for TLC and rightfully so. After his 37 second Championship reign that started and ended at Survivor Series, Roman Reigns deserves a shot at the title and TLC is just the right place for this.

Why? Because, WWE could help Sheamus get a cheap win without letting him lose the title.

The TLC matches does not take interferences into account and with superstars like Rusev and Barrett on the side of Sheamus, Reigns could get screwed over pretty easily.

The chances of Sheamus losing the title to Reigns at TLC are nil but we could expect an overbooked exciting match at the pay-per-view aimed at attracting more sympathy towards the Samoan.
