Brothers of DestructionWhat is the biggest kayfabe success that WWE had in their history? It is a tough question and the answer heavily depends on the person who is answering it. Because there are still people out there who think that Undertaker and Kane are real life brothers. For some reason, most WWE fans ignore the fact that they have no blood relation in real life and blindly follow the Kayfabe storyline. We list the standout ‘Brothers of Destruction’ moments’

#5 Reunion and Flying Goat

Undertaker had a memorable match with CM Punk back in WrestleMania 29.

The next night on Monday Night Raw, the Phenom was attacked by Shield. However, Kane and Daniel Bryan came to the aid of the dead man and fended off the hounds of justice. It was great to see Kane and Undertaker getting a brief reunion due to the alliance and Bryan being in the mix, added star power.

Taker and Team Hell No faced off against Shield two weeks later and though Undertaker was not on the winning side, it was a solid reunion. And since they managed to put over three youngsters in the process, it turned out to be even more special.

#4 Right to Censor meets Brothers of Destruction

Back in the middle of Attitude Era, the masked Kane had a match with Right to Censor member Steven Richards.

It was a hardcore match and it seemed like just another randomly booked encounter until the superstars brawled to the backstage. Kane was dominating Steven throughout the match, but it soon turned upside down when Right to Censor member came in and attacked the big red monster.

Kane was being outnumbered by the faction and then the field leveled up when Undertaker showed up. Taker, who was in his American Badass gimmick during the time simply walked into the scene and helped his brother. It was stylish and effective at the same time.

The Brothers of Destruction started off their first alliance back in 2000.

They were teaming up every now and then after that, but it took them a year to become a full-blown tag team in the roster. Taker and Kane started off things with a feud against Rikishi and Haku and then moved on to a storyline with Steve Austin and Triple H.

Later, they tasted their first tag team gold when they defeated Edge and Christian to win the titles. It was their first ever tag team title and though the reign did not last, it was memorable.

The brothers dropped the Tag titles to Austin and Triple H and in the process gave Austin and Triple H all the major titles in WWE.

#2 Raw 1000

Undertaker and Kane come under the list of names without which the history of Monday Night Raw will never be complete.

And this is why WWE brought in the brothers for their 1000th episode in 2012. Jinder Mahal, Curt Hawkins, Tyler Reks, Hunico, Camacho and Drew McIntyre were planning to attack Kane during the episode, but before they could make any move, Undertaker showed up.

The Brothers of Destruction cleaned up the attackers in no time and delivered Tombstone piledrivers to Hunico and Hawkins. They had time to pull off their signature pose as well to give the 1000th episode of Raw a nostalgic feel.

#1 Paying tribute to Paul Bearer

Paul Bearer was one of the crucial characters for the Brothers of Destruction storyline.

Bearer was a well-respected figure in the wrestling business and played a huge role in helping Undertaker and Kane set up their career. So when Bearer passed away in real life, it was only fitting for the Brothers to have a reunion to show respect to the legendary manager.

CM Punk was having a feud with Undertaker at that time and Punk decided to interrupt Taker while paying respect to Bearer. This agitated Kane and he had a match with Punk later that night.

Kane won it with the help of Taker and both the brothers paid tribute to Bearer in what proved to be an emotional moment.
