Top 5 Current Creative Plans for WWE Hell in a Cell PPV

WWE Hell in a CellWWE Hell in a Cell 2014 PPV will take place on October 26, 2014 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It will be the sixth Hell in a Cell PPV in a row.As of this writing, the following key points were discussed for the PPV:

#5 WWE World Heavyweight Title will not be defended

The current WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar retained his title at Night of Champions PPV in a match against John Cena by DQ when Seth Rollins, who is Mr.MITB, attacked Cena with his briefcase. Seth hit Lesnar with the curb stomp and tried to cash in but was stopped by Cena. A few moments later, Lesnar hit Cena with an F5.

Most of us might feel that the feud between Cena & Lesnar is not over and the two should fight one more time for the title in a Hell in the Cell match, but it most likely won't happen.

Brock Lesnar vs John Cena is not currently planned for Hell in a Cell PPV and according to The Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to be at the PPV in any capacity as of now.

#4 Big Show vs. Rusev

Rusev crushed Mark Henry at Night of Champion & again on Monday Night Raw the next night. Rusev is almost unstoppable, but there's someone who just might not get crushed, but will knock Rusev down! On this week's SmackDown tapings, Big Show tried to take revenge after what Rusev did to his friend Mark Henry. The two faced off in the main event of SmackDown and Rusev lost via DQ when Show chokeslammed Rusev and went for the knockout punch but was attacked by Rusev with the flag. Big Show ended the night by knocking out Rusev.

#3 John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose, Winner faces Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match

Both John Cena & Dean Ambrose want redemption for what Seth Rollins did to them. The current plan is to have Hell in a Cell PPV start with John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose in the opening match, with the winner of that match facing Seth Rollins inside the cell later in the night. The Hell in a Cell match might have a stipulation as well, quiet possibly with Rollins' MITB breifcase on the line.

#2 Loser of Cena vs. Ambrose to wrestle Orton in a Hell in a Cell match

WWE officials are thinking of doing 2 Hell in a Cell matches. With Orton reportedly being frustrated over his current WWE role, officials had planned Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns in a Hell in a Cell match for this PPV. But with Reigns being out for several months due to a hernia surgery, WWE officials have planned that the loser of the Cena vs. Ambrose match will face Orton inside Hell in a Cell later in the night.

#1 Steve Austin possibly returning to WWE TV

Apparently there is a deal in place between Austin and the company where WWE will promote Austin’s podcast on Monday Night Raw, and Austin will be picking matches from the WWE Network to advertise on his show each week. Austin’s merchandise has been pushed heavily by the WWE lately and Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that we may see his return to TV in order to enhance sales.

Officials are thinking that it will be a good idea to bring Austin back on WWE TV, or maybe just make an appearance at the show, since the PPV is in his home state of Texas.
