Who can stop Nia Jax?

Roxy

Nia Jax – A dominating force to be reckoned withIn late 90’s and early 2000 we saw a plethora of great divas, who majorly played as a valet and occasionally got involved in the ring.Divas like Torrie Wilson, Sable, Debra, Tori and Terri Runnels came from modelling backgrounds or were the cover girls of many renowned magazines. By the year 2000, action-loving fans got to witness a combination of sexy plus strong divas like Trish Stratus, Lita, Ivory, Mickie James, Victoria and Molly Holly who raised the bar of women’s wrestling a little higher. Then there are, what I like to call, tiny sparks. Divas like AJ Lee and Alexia Bliss who prove to be small yet athletic and entertaining, beating the odds and stereotypes. While WWE signed varied types of divas, for some reason they failed to bring on board a female version of the Big Show, Great Khali or Mark Henry. Now don’t directly compare, but what I am referring to is the size and intimidation factor that these gigantic wrestlers bring with them.In 2010, WWE was about to bring in Aloisia for the NXT season 3 which featured only divas. Aloisia stands 2.04 m tall and would have become the tallest diva to ever enter a WWE ring. Unfortunately, she was dropped from the show and didnât make it to the competition. In 2011, Kharma was introduced following a few frightening vintages that were played for several weeks. Better known as Awesome Kong from TNA, Kharma was the female monster WWE had been on a look out for. She fit perfectly well in the character but had to leave WWE before building any momentum as she got pregnant exactly when things started picking up in the ring.WWE’s quest to hire a supersized diva seems to have needed when Nia Jax was signed to WWE developmental territory back in 2014. She appeared this year under the ring name of Zada, but quickly changed her name to Nia Jax and transformed into a destruction machine.Nia Jax adds a new flavor to the current divas division and fills in the blank that has been void for years. While it is too soon to judge who can stop this dangerous diva, we can surely think who would make a good opponent for the monster. Check out three other similar divas who could tear the house down in a match against Nia.

#1 Beth Phoenix Vs Nia Jax

Beth Phoenix is a three-time WWE Women's Champion and 2008 Slammy Diva of the year award winner.

Coined as the Glamazon, Beth dominated the divas division throughout her career. Not only did she face female competitors, but in Royal Rumble 2010, Beth entered the 30 men match and successfully eliminated The Great Khali. She became the second woman in history to enter the Rumble match.

If Beth can eliminate Khali, it is only safe to say that she can use her strength to defeat Nia Jax. While Nia is much heavier and bigger than Beth, the only thing she lacks is the in-ring experience that Beth holds in the WWE ring.

Nevertheless, it will be entertaining to see these two ruthless divas clash off and bring in their aggression.

#2 Chyna Vs Nia Jax

Following Andre the Giant, Chyna was billed as the Ninth Wonder of the world. She actually faced very little competition in the women’s division and mostly took on the men.

She was the first diva to enter a Royal Rumble match. She was the only diva to hold the Intercontinental title, twice. Candidly holding the women’s champion at the time of her departure with the company, Chyna’s legacy is unmatched even today.

Nia vs Chyna would have been like watching old school vs new school. Both divas are intimidating, huge yet agile in ring workers. Nia would definitely give Chyna the sort of competition that she lacked in her career during her heydays. Unfortunately, WWE and Chyna are not in the best terms and we can only imagine this fed.

Had she been in WWE, even for one last run, Chyna would have definitely made an interesting opponent for Nia Jax.

#3 Awesome Kong Vs Nia Jax

The first TNA Women’s (Knockouts) Champion, Awesome Kong has slayed most of her opponents throughout her career.

After dominating TNA’s women’s division, she came to WWE as Kharma and stayed for a short run. Divas didn’t know what to expect from Kharma as she manically destroyed Maryse, Alica Fox, Eve and Nikki Bella after their matches.

During her limited time, she entered the Royal Rumble becoming the third female wrestler do so. Kharma definitely had the potential to fight men, and much like Chyna, she would have finished the women’s division quite quickly.

While Kharma outweighs Nia, she is not taller than her. Both females have a strong physical presence and different wrestling styles. Many say, Nia is the replacement of Kharma and WWE is building her just as strong as they had planned for Kharma.

This feud is not completely impossible. While Kharma currently works for TNA, there is still a possibility that she may someday come to WWE for another short run. Hopefully some day we will get to see these two collide, much like The Big Show Vs The Great Khali.
