This will be the most talked about Wrestlemania yet. it had many moments only a Wrestlemania could provide. The stakes were high and so was the energy of every human out there who was a part of this spectacle and what an eventful night. Legends came back, legends were created and even if this was a Wrestlemania high on nostalgia and veteran victories, one moment at the end of the night triggered the future and made one believe that this is the time for the future to take their rightful place in the present scenario of the WWE.Here are the five best performances of the night-

#5 Sting

Nobody expected a technical classic from this veteran. But drama? As Hall of Famer Macho Man would say, “ Oh, Yeah!”

For a 56 year old, Sting looked really good in the ring, pulling out dropkicks and leaps and the like. He was spectacular. He even broke the sledgehammer in half with his bat. The audience was on its feet for most of the match and they made a resounding ‘You still got it’ chant for the Stinger. It was historic and it represented everything that pro-wrestling is- a spectacle, a theatre of charismatic performers.

What the match will also be remembered for is the nostalgia factor with WWE and WCW rekindling a bit of that old fire with DX and NWO making an appearance.

The commentators called him a minnow, a fish, a shark while talking about their unending ocean called WWE. But, people, please, he’s a scorpion. He’ll survive and thrive in that ocean.

#4 Rusev

An intimidating entrance for an intimidating presence. Rusev made his way to the stadium in a fire tank. He dominated John Cena, the virtuous American hero and trash talked his way through the match. He was believable when he screamed facing the face who runs the place, ‘ You can’t beat me, John Cena’.

Cena did and Rusev tasted his first ever defeat via pinfall. He gave Lana an earful, instead of checking on her well-being after he accidently pushed her out of the ring. She did everything she could to help Rusev out.

Rusev walked out defeated, but he was walking just fine. He was enraged, he was unhappy. Most of all, he’s still a really good heel.

And by the way, it was a great move to have him scream at and interfere ring announcer Eden when she went on to introduce the challenger first as is tradition. She stopped, taken aback and introduced Rusev to the appreciation of the crowd.

#3 Brock Lesnar

Lesnar came out looking stronger than ever. He was the undisputed, invincible reigning king. And he walked in with the crowd knowing he’s there to entertain them for three more years. He dominated Reigns, as was expected. Reigns looked like those anime characters swaying across all the sections of the ring inside and outside. he had to get used to the constant barrage of German suplexes, a beely to belly suplex, kicks and stomps as Lesnar walked out about with pride and arrogance.

Lesnar did recieve his own set of beating and was busted open in the process.

The only missing ingredient was that he wasn’t speared through the barricade.

#2 Roman Reigns

Give him some credit for having the guts to take the chance given to him and improve his game greatly. Imagine being Reigns, walking into a wildhouse of a hostile environment in the Levi’s stadium that won’t give him a chant, taking fierce set of offenses by a beast that is unconquerable. Reigns took his beating like a pro. For a moment, he got some support with a section of the crowd trying to start a ‘Roman Reigns’ chant. But just when we thought that his moment is soon to arrive, something entirely believable yet shocking happened.

#1 Seth Rollins

They absolutely made him cash- in in the middle of the match and make it a triple threat. That continues the story between the spoiled little brat and the beast.Their interactions were great and it’s absolutely logical to fall on that post-wrestlemania. And mainly, the little brother who robbed the MITB briefcase from brother Ambrose has stolen the tilte from his other brother Reigns.

He lost his first match and the second match of the live televised show against orton after a range of brilliant selling and that epic RKO.

But who would have thought, Rollins, the indy wrestler, will be given such a Wrestlemania moment?
