#5 Mickie Botches Stratusfaction (WrestleMania 22)

The bout between Mickie James and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 22 might be remembered for the infamous V-lick from Mickie but there was another forgettable moment in the match as far as WWE is concerned.

It was a great match in comparison with the other WrestleMania outings that divas had and everything including the V-lick fitted in perfectly until Mickie went overboard and botched.

As an ultimate insult to her opponent during the match, Mickie was supposed to deliver Trish’s finisher, the Stratusfaction. Both women however flubbed the move and couldn’t find a proper follow up as well. It went down as a black mark in the otherwise solid match and Mickie would have nightmares about this throughout her life.

#4 Chaos at its best (WrestleMania 8)

WWE had a lot of chances to make Sid look good during his WWE stay and one of them was a match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 8. Sid came down to the ring alongside his manager, Harvey Wippleman, and everything went just like scripted until the segment where Papa Shango was supposed to appear.

Shango was scripted to break up the pin attempt of Hogan at one point of the match but for some reason he couldn’t make it in time. So to let the story continue, Wippleman jumped into the scene and tried to do what Shango was supposed to do. However, Sid kicked out before the same.

And just seconds later, Shango showed up. Basically, three men tried to do ones job and it was utter chaos all around.

#3 Hogan screws up his promo (WrestleMania XXX)

After a spell in TNA, Hogan returned to WWE just before WrestleMania XXX and roped in the responsibility of hosting the pay-per-view. Everyone expected it to be a trip down the memory lane with Hogan as the host and it was just that when Hogan botched his promo in the opening segment.

Superdome was the venue for the show but Hogan addressed the same as Silverdome causing a lot of chaos in the crowd. He later covered it up by saying he is still stuck at WrestleMania 3 but the damage had already been done. Rock and Steve Austin rescued Hogan later on but it was an embarrassing botch to say the least.

#2 Undertakers almost goes for a last ride (WrestleMania 25)

The WrestleMania 25 clash between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels is etched into history books as one of the greatest matches in the pay-per-view. Both veterans gave out their best performance on the night and at the same time, they managed to showcase the entire chemistry perfectly.

However, what got buried amidst all the praise was a botched dive from Undertaker. Taker is not known for someone who takes the aerial route very often but at Mania 25, he decided to jump out of the ring in an attempt to knock out Shawn Michaels.

The camera man was supposed to absorb Taker’s drop but since he had only one job, the camera man (who was Jimmy Snuka’s son) messed up the whole thing. Taker landed awkwardly on his head and could have been dead if it was a fraction different.

#1 Flying Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania 19)

Brock Lesnar is known for his domination and power game in between the ropes. He has a reputation of ripping through his opponents irrespective of who it is. Most of the moves in his arsenal are power based but at WrestleMania 19, Lesnar decided to break his habit and went to the top rope.

He was having a WWE championship match against Kurt Angle at the pay-per-view and decided to deliver a shooting star press at one point. Now, even the top highfliers in the business have trouble pulling it off and then there was the near 300 pound Lesnar.

The move turned out to be a complete disaster and Lesnar almost ended up killing himself in the process.
