WWE WrestleMania XXX: Superstar Ratings

The spectacle called WrestleMania touched thirty last night, and though it was a silent anniversary there were a plethora of talking points from the pay-per-view.Pre-show started off with the Real Americans splitting up and us getting glimpses of Cesaro being lined up for the future. Cesaro went on to prove that it wasnt a fluke by winning the Andre the Giant battle Royal Eliminating Big Show.Daniel Bryan also had the moment that was being built up for eight months and the fans were left chanting their life out at the Superdome. Brat Wyatt meanwhile was the less fortunate from the lot as he fell to John Cena. But the biggest talking point that came from the night was the end of streak which shut down the WWE Universe. It was a WrestleMania that will be one of the biggest milestones in the history of the promotion so here is a look at how the superstars did with the Superstar ratings.

#15 Kane and the New Age Outlaws- 5

We were sure that the Outlaws and Kane wasn’t going to get a winning WrestleMania moment but we were not clearly expecting them to end up as squash opponents to the Shield.

The trio looked no match for the Hounds of justice and it again called out how idiotically WWE booked such veterans in the company and also one of the hottest trio in the company.

#14 Jack Swagger- 6

One of the biggest losers of the night was Jack Swagger. WWE did the right thing by splitting up the Real Americans as it would do wonders for Cesaro but Swagger is sure to struggle a lot once he finishes the friction with Cesaro and will need some big push to stay relevant,.

He will have a short feud with Cesaro for the time being at least and he would need to make the maximum use of it if he has to put him back in the radar.

#13 Los Matadores- 6

The Los Matadores getting a place in the tag team title match was something which raised a lot of eyebrows. And the WWE did nothing to make their decision look credible as the Los Matadores was the first team to be eliminated in the match.

Entertainment quotient was definetly benefited by the inclusion of Matadores and El Torito had a good spot in between the match. However, from a wrestling point of view, Matadores added minimum to the whole match.

#12 Rybaxel- 6.5

Ryback and Curtis Axel are clearly finding the chemistry they lack initially as they pass every match. This one was another stage of transition for the duo.

Axel had some moments in the match that reminded us of his father and how he could’ve flourished if given the right push. Rybaxel was the second team to be eliminated and Ryback was the unlucky one to be pinned which further overshadowed him.

#11 Big Show- 6.5

After all that hype that he got on the road to WrestleMania about winning the Andre the Giant, Big Show was a favorite when he entered the ring.

And when he ended up in the last two, the fans were certainly sensing something. But Cesaro showed off great strength and determination to get Show out of the ring and it will be interesting to see where the Giant goes from here.

#10 Shield 6.5

The Shield clearly looked dominant against the Outlaws and Kane but it wasn’t just another weekly show to book the Shield in a squash match.

Shield had a lot to offer at the grand stage and though the WWE teased a break up, it never materialized. Shield thus ended up being booked in a bizarre fashion and it only goes down in history as a wasted opportunity.

#9 The Usos-7

There were no doubts about the Usos winning the title as they only won it recently. The question which only remained when it came to their match was how WWE will make it look good with the amount of bodies present.

The Usos was flying around and cleaning house every time they got a chance to do so and they are going to be proud of themselves as they walked out of WrestleMania with the title because they clearly deserved it.

#8 Bray Wyatt-7

All the build up that WWE gave to Bray Wyatt went in vain as the eater of the worlds fell to the cenation leader. The only thing that the writers needed to keep Bray's character alive was to give him a win and it sadly didnt happen.

Bray picking up from this loss is really a big shot but if he doesnt its a big loss for the company.

#7 John Cena- 7.5

Cena did what he does best; ruin the momentum of an upcoming star. His win wasn’t something that everyone was expecting and once it happened the fans realized that WWE has no intentions of letting Cena go.

The match wasn’t anything special but there was a lot of psychology involved in it which sparked some cheers.

#6 Triple H 7.5

Triple H is a great brawler, period. And him working on a technical match with Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania was something that no one saw coming.

It wasn’t a perfect performance from Hunter but it was certainly one which was among the best that he gave in recent times. Bryan’s skill to carry his opponent also complemented the Game well and Stephanie was a big boost ring side.

He shined despite losing the match and he should think about getting more inside the ring.

#5 Cesaro- 8

The WWE finally heard all the cries of the IWC and gave Cesaro a big push that he clearly deserved. Splitting up with Jack Swagger apparently was only the beginnings as he went on to do bigger things later on.

What WWE has stored for Cesaro is still a mystery but it certainly is something big and Cesaro is going places.

#4 Brock Lesnar-8

For those who were expecting Lesnar to be the 22nd victim of Undertaker, this might be the time to realize Lesnar’s name is going to be etched into history as the one who ended the streak.

Lesnar didn’t put on a wrestling clinic to be precise but the match was well put to hide all the flaws of both the superstars. It doesn’t matter how dominant Lesnar was in the past, he now has something else to define him.

#3 The Undertaker-8

It’s over. The two decade long streak that has been the biggest draw of WrestleMania has now officially ended. No one was expecting Lesnar to get it done and that certainly added a bit of beauty to the whole thing.

Taker taking the long walk backstage was a painful sight as it certainly wasn’t a fitting farewell for this legend.

#2 Batista and Randy Orton- 8

The reason why the former Evolution teammates are ranked together is because they delivered an equally impressive performance at the main event.

Complementing Daniel Bryan wasn’t the only thing that Batista and Orton did as they gave out everything they had to make sure that the fans was treated properly. But what the future holds for these guys will be a problem as both are in desperate need of some new direction.

#1 Daniel Bryan- 10

After being dragged down each and every time he came up, Daniel Bryan finally found his WrestleMania moment last night. Defeating Triple H in a great match started off his night and had to fight through the pain to even get to the main event.

Once he got there, it was him against the whole world then again but Bryan capped off the night with a moment which deserved a stage like WrestleMania.
