WWE's Top 5 social media moments of the week

The Deadman is taken on an all expense paid tripSocial Media – two words that encapsulate the highlight of WWE’s business model in recent years. They have tried extensively to reach out to fans and keep a steady presence in today’s digitally progressing world by way of always posting something or the other every other day on their social media platforms.Be it Twitter, Facebook or Instagram; most of their performers themselves maintain a steady social media presence. So, it comes as no surprise when something or the other interesting and consequentially entertaining event unfolds online. It’s either them or the fans who post it. Here are the top 5 social media moments of the week:-

#1 Finn Bay-lor

Finn Balor is the latest performer to join the injury list, though the extent of his injury hasn’t been disclosed yet. Due to that, he wasn’t cleared to compete in NXT’s recent house show at Indianapolis, but he was there on crutches to grace everyone with his magnificent presence.

But it all turned to something special when Bayley did Balor’s entrance with his trademark jacket intact, showing off her title just like him, doing the Bullet Club hand gesture and the routine in raising one’s arm in the air.

If that wasn’t enough, Balor motivated himself to do his arm raising shtick with his crutches. He was successful the first time but fell trying to do it consecutively. That led Bayley to console him in true hugster style.

Arguably one of the most memorable moments this week.

#2 Wrestling and singing in Memphis

Yes, we can’t get enough of the NXT Champion who despite being not being present on NXT, makes everyone’s heart rumble at house shows. He wrestled Baron Corbin in Memphis and won emphatically being super duper over. He then took the mic and sang.

The words went-“I was wrestling in Memphis, wrestling with my feet stood on the top rope. Oh, I was wrestling in Memphis and I rammed my feet down Corbin's throat” – with a proper baritone going.

#3 Slo mo End of Days

Slow motion shots of wrestling moves may well be the most brutally yet beautiful captured shots, which WWE has been posting some lately on their Twitter or Youtube pages.

Baron Corbin has been in NXT long enough to be considered a valuable asset to the product, given that he has been considerably protected. He’s known as the Lone Wolf and he’s not caring about anything in the world going to the tee, but still could do with some improvement with his character.

But there is no denying that his finishing move the ‘End of Days’ is legit one of the most beautiful looking finishers ever. WWE caught the move in its all its glory in slow motion a few days back, which you must check out.

#4 Slow Ride to Suplex City

Now that we got the slow motion thing in check, here’s another attempt by WWE. This time, it’s Brock Lesnar taking Rusev to Suplex City in super slo-mo. It’s brutal, it’s majestic and it looks as effective in slow motion as it does in normal motion.

It’s a trip you shouldn’t take just for the brute force you come down to earth with, but this video sure makes you want to be a part of, possibly playing the part of Lesnar than Rusev.

#5 Phenomenal Deconstruction

The Miz is a great character, or at least, he’s great at playing his character but he doesn’t seem to get all that much of an importance these days on television playing the resident host to his talk show.

But AJ Styles had quite the memorable interaction with him on Raw and Smackdown. Their segment on Miz TV was possibly the best work Miz has done since the beginning of this year. And on Smackdown, he got his moneymaker face deconstructed minutely by The Phenomenal One.

That should have been a big deal honestly given how entertaining Miz could have made it on live TV. He got it fixed now, you guys.
