5 most scariest Hell in a Cell moments

The American Airlines Center in Dallas would play host to the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view in one week’s time. Five matches have been added to the card so far with the possibilities of more additions in the coming week.Though all five are matches that look good on paper, two in particular would stand out due to the career threatening match stipulation that fans lovingly call, Hell in a Cell. The current PG product will surely restrict us from having one of those epic Attitude Era moments from this gimmick match but the hopes are high.Over the years Hell in a Cell has given us many epic moments and here is a look at the most scariest ones before we brace ourselves for two more matches inside the cell.

#5 Shawn Michaels goes through the announce table

The first ever Hell in a Cell match in WWE saw Undertaker facing Shawn Michaels inside the unforgiving steel structure.

Both men gave a great effort to make the new concept look great and the best spot from the match came as it moved towards the climax.

Michaels took out a cheap shot at the camera man to escape the cell but only ended up on top of it along with Taker. And as you would see later in the list, Taker on top of the cell guarantees memorable moments.

The Heart Break kid was left dangling from one edge of the cell as the fight on top of the cell progressed and a big stomp from Taker made Michaels fall right through the announce table giving the first taste of what Hell in a Cell could do to a man’s body.

#4 Rikishi chokeslammed into a truck

Taker’s second memorable moment on top of the Cell came at the 2000 edition of Armageddon where Taker was in a Hell in a Cell match against Triple H, Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Rock and Rikishi for the WWE Championship.

At one point of the match, Vince McMahon tried to demolish the cell using a truck which played a big role in this moment. After McMahon left his truck there, Undertaker and Rikishi ended up on top of the cage where they began brawling.

And then Taker gave Rikishi a ride that he will never forget. The big Samoan was chokeslammed from top of the cell right into the truck which ensured a sight of awe for the fans.

#3 Foley goes through the cell

You are going to see a lot of Foley on this list because he is that damn good when it comes to Hell in a Cell matches.

This one came at the 2000 edition of No Way Out and was billed as a career vs. Championship match between Foley and Triple H. The two men went on to have a cruel match inside the cell with a lot of blood involved.

Foley was in no mood to give up despite being punished a lot and they climbed on top of the cell as the match neared its end.

Foley then did what he does best, he took a big bump. He was seen going through the cell right into the ring which gave away when he landed. Hunter needed one more pedigree to get the win since losing after a big fall was too mainstream for Foley.

#2 Mick Foley flies

It’s hard not to respect Mick Foley once you know more about the man. He started out as an underdog and went on to establish a cult status in the wrestling business which till this moment remains untouched.

Arguably the biggest match in Foley’s career was the Hell in a Cell match he had with Undertaker at King of the Ring pay-per-view in 1998.

Two spots from the match will be remembered from the match forever, and this here is the first one. Foley was thrown down almost twenty feet from top of the cell, right into the announce table which changed the way everyone looked at him.

If that wasn’t enough, Foley went on to continue the match despite the disastrous fall and gave us the next moment.

#1 Foley goes through the Cell, again

Wrestling is scripted. All the other spots in this list were scripted but this wasn’t. Foley after being thrown into the announce table from nearly twenty feet came back and climbed the cell once again.

He fought with the Undertaker once again on top of the cage and Taker ended up chokeslaming Foley. Foley was supposed to land safely on the cell panel but it gave up and Foley fell free into the ring. Everyone who knew what went down thought Foley was dead and they had all the right to think so.

He was knocked out for nearly three minutes and had teeth stuck in his nose. Everyone wanted to call off the match after that fall but Foley wouldn’t have it that way.

The match continued and after some more brutal beating, Taker finally got the win but the fans would not remember the result since it would be an insult to the legend who took birth that night.
