PSA Challenger 15 arrives in Mumbai

After three years, Mumbai will witness a PSA event. It’s a rare chance for the squash lovers, especially from Mumbai, to follow the action live at CCI.

Cricket Club of India (CCI), Mumbai, in association with the Rolling Nicks Squash Academy, Pune, is all set to host its first Professional Squash Association (PSA) event. The event is an elaborated six day event from 6th May-11th May, 2013. The PSA Challenger 15 event will feature both the foreign and Indian squash players who will lock horns for the total cash reward of $15000. The event is an important fixture in the squash’s international calendar for the results will have a huge bearing on the rankings of the players.

All the squash lovers have an opportunity to witness the live action just by getting themselves registered online on the Rolling Nicks Squash Academy website. The event has been promoted heavily by the Rolling Nicks Academy. Handling the entire PR and operations of the event, Mahesh Mangaokar, Abhinav Sinha, and Kunwarpal Singh are hopeful of the event’s success, given the support of CCI. “We have done aggressive promotion of the event in schools, clubs and also via radio, newspaper and social networking sites. Intensive promotion is being done keeping in mind the bid for squash in 2020 Olympics, and of course to popularize the sport amongst the masses”, tells Kunwarpal Singh, event organizer.
