2015 Wimbledon draw: Serena Williams, Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova in the same half

World No. 1 Serena Williams, who is looking for her 21st Grand Slam title at Wimbledon has to pass through Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova to get to the final.

Serena starts her campaign against Margarita Gasparyan and a third round clash against 2014 finalist Dominika Cibulkova is on the cards. She could face her sister Venus Williams in the fourth round and either Victoria Azarenka or Ivanovic in the last eight. The 33-year-old has to get past Sharapova in the semifinal to make it to yet another final at SW19.

Sharapova, 2004 champion here, will play Johanna Konta in the first round. The Russian has a relatively easy passage to the fourth round where she could face Andrea Petkovic, before a quarterfinal against her French Open conqueror Lucie Safarova.

Caroline Wozniacki takes on Saisai Zheng in her opener with a possible thrid round match against Camila Giorgi and a last 16 match against Angelique Kerber, who took out Sharapova last year.

2014 French Open runner-up Simona Halep will take on Jana Cepalova. Her fourth round opponent could be Sabine Lisicki. Defending champion Petra Kvitova will face Kiki Bertens in the first round. and a third round match against Jelena Jankovic looks likely.

She might meet Agnieszka Radwanska in the fourth round.

Eugenie Bouchard, who reached the finals here last year, will face Yingying Duan in her opener. A mouth watering thrid round match against Madison Keys is on the cards, before a fourth round encounter against Alize Cornet or Ekaterina Makarova.
